Wow...this is good.    Can we please get this level of customization in all games.    ^_^    I am very impressed..     One thing about the Korean made MMORPG's - the graphics are always top-notch for the most part.   To bad the game play is not on the same level.   

What is with all the flashy stuff and fighting tens or MOB's(ala Diablo-isque) in these games anyway.    It's like playing an arcade fighting game - I keep wondering where to put the quarter.  ^_^

OMG.......its a L3 rip off!

Not bad, on par graphics with most F2P asian games, the flashy effects similar, might just see what its gameplay has got.

I kinda like that in MMOs. UO, AC, EVE and Dragonica are some of the MMOs I player where fighting multiple enemies is common.  Swarms and flood rooms give the battle kind of an epic feel to it.. you get that true superhero feeling, especially when you're done and knee-deep in the dead. :)

Haha. ive seen the character creator in CO...its definitely not as deep as AION or AoC...Way more options in Aion try making wolverine in CO and come back to me...

Try yourself to make Wolverine in Aion or AoC, it is not because you have 35 sliders for each part of your face that you can call it deep, at the end, it is you armor that people will recognise, not your face.

Oh don't mistake what I am saying, I do not mind bodies piling up before you as you fight, I am a die-hard Mount and Blade player and piles of bodies on the walls of castles are a good thing - if done right.    ^_^   But I guess what I am getting at is the flashy graphics and the need for all the flipping and flying stuff.   Is that really necessary?   I wish that one of these MMORPG makers would take the Mount and Blade style of combat and put it into their game.   Seriously...until you've experienced a battle of hundreds - with archers, footmen, and knights all clashing together in a massive battle - nothing these MMORPG's that are currently on the market really impress me.    Take a Kherg castle and then come talk to me.   LOL!    Archers for the win!   So many arrows raining down from the walls...it's amazing anything survives to climb the ladders to get into the castle to fight.   ^_^

And you think Aion is good!!! Aion as 8 very generic class with no customisation what so ever after you hit play. You have to grind atleast 25 lvl to start playing the real game, why? NCSoft though that you were so stupid to understand the game, they give you 25 lvl to learn how your generic class work. Also the jokes on you for paying for a Free to Play game, this is just another generic asian grinder with a monthly fee. Let's talk about your restricted fly ability in time and space, atleast in CO I can go everywhere at any time.

Looks more like they ripped off Dungeon Runners.

this game is not even an aion rip off its so bad. The controls are slow and it feels like a cheap game with just little bit better graphics. not grand or detailed about it. the settings are really not next gen or anything. i don't like it.

...and anions is an advanced lineage2 with wings...although truth being told lineage2 is NCSofts game

I didn't like the character customization in CO either, too similar to CoH in my opinion.. I didn't beta CO that long either, uninstalled it the first night as a matter of fact, the similarities to CoH were very rampant for me (Yes I know Cryptic made CoH, but I didn't want CoH2)

Anyhow this thread is about Karos, which I will give a try this evening when the download and patch complete.... I'll be lucky if it plays like Aion but I'm hearing elsewhere that it sucks. :(

Looks interesting to me, and frankly.... most of your comments arn't even worth the time you wasted all pissed off an hopped up when you argue anyways.

Best way, try the game for yourself before fanboys, haters and all around liars post their so called "reviews" or craptastic opinions. Most havent even played the game either from the looks of it.

I actually beta'd it back in August... I truly wasn't impressed. But, unlike the OP, I don't think it is a rip of Aion.

Karos has a NHN engine, and you have to learn that their engines are really good. Look at Continent of the Ninth, or Tera Online.

If u think this game is more next-gen than AoC then something is wrong with you...and if you think this game looks better than Aion ...then something is wrong in your head...Aion is clearly graphically superior and definitely uses a more technically advanced engine. The cryengine(which was HEAVILY modded by ncsoft) can do alot more than what was seen in farcry...

NHN has good engines yes...but this is a HORRIBLE implementation of good software...tera is the best theyve done...they shouldve spent more time on pushing tera out the door than trying to make this waste of time...

and if you think aion "sux" then you obviously havent played it...

the armor design is elaborate and imaginative. The character customization is so deep that you can make your character look any way you want. its even possible to make wolverine...I've seen a guy that looks like michael jackson in the CBT(and i mean exactly like him). The textures definitely arent bad...this game has bad textures..they tried to cover it up with their Adobe after effects filters in their video. HAHA! The battle system in the game is incredible and recognizable...the animations are incredibly fluid and well done. The emotes are also well animated.

Saying Aion "sux" is like saying runescape is the best looking mmo in the world!

aion isn't that special, the repetative quests and typical everything else aside from flying and yes, they do have an amazing custom characterization... aside from that, its w/e

honestly, you sound like your in bed with the producers of aion, relax man, no ones trying to bend you over in a jail cell

im just stating the facts dude. That and he said that this game was the first next-gen game...that in itself deserves a good slap in the face. i think hes been living under a rock for the past few years. Some body pm that guy a picture of age of conan and let him post again.
 

I agree with you. There is no way that this game can compare with Aion. The production quality of Aion, attention to detail, VARIETY of things to do, and amazing story telling make it one of the top notch games today. The only thing both games have similar is they are both grind fests. One just does it much better and looks better doing it. That being said I don't play Aion anymore Did 4 US beta events and was not impressed. Korean Grinder that looks good and sounds nice. 

wait wait wait, why the hell are people posting videos for Coninent of the ninth for this game? damn assholes i thought this was gunna be the english version..lol had me all hyped up, then went to the Karos site and the vids on there look like ass. and is it just me or is the girl in the icon pic for this game cross-eyed? not bashin this game just don't post a better game made by this company to try to make this one look good.

It was an interesting test run, not sure I would p2p this title however.
