Abortion is legal.

However, that said, I do not condone abortion, I would like to see more outreach by agencies such as Catholic Social Services to those considering abortion to place their child up for adoption. Four of my friends have adopted through Catholic Social Services because they were unable to have children. I think it is a win-win option for both the mother, the child, and my friends.

The abortion card is played far too much and far to quickly by certain medical practitioners that stand to make a fast buck. It is against their business practices to first direct a mother to alternative solutions.

Just because the mother doesn't want the child doesn't mean that nobody else does.

Yes people have killed people for thousands of years, but that is completely irrelevant. Just because you can kill with a gun doesn't mean that you can kill just as easily with anything else. Not only do you need to be significantly mentally stronger to actually murder somebody in CQB, you also need the required skills and tools to do so. Pulling the trigger is much easier than any other way of killing. You seem to think that killing with one weapon is the same as killing with another weapon. this simply isn't true.

Should we ban them as well? ofcourse not. Homes and cars have primary uses. This does not count for guns. We have no other use for them besides killing.

I don't know that and unless you are a mind reader, neither do you. After what the union thugs did, I would be as armed as legally possible when attending one of these events if union members were likely to be there. And while I would prefer to carry concealed, if open carry was the legal way to go then open carry it would be.

It's not just the few examples you give, and I left out plenty more people can think of. I certainly don't agree with people showing up at events such as this with weapons unless they have a legitimate fear for their lives, but your scope is way too narrow.
 
If these people have such a fear, it's best that they just stay home in the first place because they aren't going to be let inside the venue with the guns with the President inside. So why stand outside in the hot sun fully armed with a fear complex of what might happen from whoever the boogeyman is, when you could have just stayed at home safe and sound?
 

While I don't agree with Dekron by any stretch, your own list is way too shortsided. Especially the "cold, dead hands "part. That's the thing we Americans who oppose these people DON'T want to do. Create some type of confrontations leading to shooting actions at these events in the first place that you are advocating in a joking manner isn't really that responsible.
 
 

I would prefer a more realistic approach, such as a limit of quarter of a mile or some determined distance so that their firearms would be rendered ineffective and much less of a threat to the general populace than them simply standing outside or across the street the venue.

I'm not joking about disarming that guy either. He's clearly a crank. "Out of my cold dead hands" is something he obviously believes and frankly that's a confrontation your law enforcement agencies shouldn't be avoiding. It's their duty.
I advocate they go round his house and pay him a visit, rather than start off a Bloody Sunday styled massacre of course. Obviously if he was in anyway responsable he wouldn't put himself and his gun in an atagonistic/provocative situation to start with. But since he clearly isn't.....
