I've gotten to level 44 on C-Aion and it is a ton like wow although the pvp is different.I like it but it isn't the best |

I've had a great time in the Beta. I'm really looking forward to the final release next month. Momo sucks, I have proof. |

Yes great game I am sure it will be very successful in NA, I have been playing since CB4 and I must say I approve of everything the game has to offer. |

I've been playing MMOs since near the beginning of MMO time and I personally don't see why people dislike this game so much. The way I see it they're just using innovation (or the lack there of) as a tool to flame the game because it's become so popular so fast. Sure it's just like every other MMORPG out there, but how do you really expect innovation to play a role in a RPG? There's only so much they can change. I personally like Aion granted I've not played it all that much mainly because I'm waiting for the Pre-Launch. Sure the quests are generic "Kill X number of Y Mob" or "Take X item to Y NPC" quests, but again what do you expect? If you have better ideas for quests, most game devs are always open to suggestions from their players about how to make the game more enjoyable for them. Also I personally like linear starter areas as they allow me to learn how to play on my first toon, and then allow me to level through it quickly on all my alts since I already know how to do everything. I must agree though, my main gripe about the game is the lack of swimming though I'm hoping they'll add it in in a later patch. I also don't like how my computer can barely run it, but I was expecting as much. |

AoC is so bad that I wouldn't offer it up to my worst enemy. Anyway, I firmly believe that AION will be a success here in the U.S. ... not WoW numbers ... but a solid second. As for the Auto Assault guy ... You're not as funny as Sevensodd but nice try.
LMFAO ahah! that made me laugh too... well said! AoC = /wrist Now playing : Rift |

Well, I'w white and non-asian, so I guess I get extra points. I have played the last two betas, and tried several classes. Yes I like it. The lower levels, as one poster said, make you want to slam your head against a wall. Not sure I could do it violently, as I'm pretty slow. After years of playing mmo, one can only take so much of "go kill 5 of x" or run back to talk to so ans so when you just ran 5 minutes from there. Overall, I like it alot. |

Great game and will be so much better on release in Sept. Looking forward to Version 1.5 and a LOT less grind. |

Although it's not a great leap forward I am certainly enjoying the game. The graphics are really nice and I am really pleased with the character customisation. All the games I've tried recently have had one or two aspects where they really blew. So far I have not encountered any major gripes with Aion which is a good thing for me at this stage. I'm more excited by FFXIV, but I'm pretty sure I'll be playing Aion until then, and perhaps longer, we'll see. |

I have enjoyed myself during beta. Aion has beautiful graphics, few bugs, stable, and entertaining gameplay. With so many disappointing MMOs released in the last 18 months we're due for a descent one. |

There needs to be an Advice Chat or help chat. I been playing it and tons of solo players on it. The game looks great and after lvl 16 it get very fun. Im going to give it a cap toon and see what happens. If I get in a good guild I may stay around. But I can see why ppl like this game, there are few bugs from what I have seen. |

Y i did like the game.. has some issues with graphics, some issues with how rangers shooting bows can be so annoying for whom is playing them.. and some graphic card overheating issues prolly related to bad geometry that needs some fixing on lvl 18-20 areas. But overall, i did like the game. its fun.. worth playing imo. Standard Lineage 2 upgrade version.. shoulod be called Lineage 3 instead of Aion tbh :] |

I actually hate that aspect of the crafting in this game. Although hopefully I can just purchase what I need from others. The drop rate leaves a bit to be desired in my opinion. I love the crafting. Are you aware that the drops are only for crafting things you use and not for leveling? You get a repeatable quest (called a work order) from each trainer that requires you to make X amount of something. She provides the 'drop' for free and you buy the other ingredients right there at the shop. It costs money, but that is the primary way of leveling.
Then when you get to the level you need to be at to craft things for yourself, you use the drops you got out in the world to make useable stuff for your character. It's always a good idea to craft several of the same item because the crafting process often procs and creates a green item with an extra manastone slot and much better stats. If you are still missing some key ingredient, it will most certainly be at the Broker (Auction House). Playing in beta, the Broker was in full swing and extremely active. Alchemy and cooking rely mostly on gathering so you can conceivably level just by making pots for yourself, but the trainer is always there to help you level for cash if you don't have enough mats.
edit: Oh, almost forgot to answer the question. I love the game.

I started playing just this weekend and only got to lvl 11 on my ranger but I have loved the game so far. The only thing I didn't like was that people seemed to just ignore each other. I would see people struggling to kill a mob and there would be healers walking by and they wouldn't heal them. Other than that my beta experience was great. |

Overall, love the game so far. The character creation alone is worth checking out...its the best I've seen in any game so far (MMO and single player). I've seen some sweet looking toons as well as some horribly made toons but thats nice thing about Aion...you can make your character look like whatever you want.
I hope with future patches Aion only gets better which will defiently draw in even more of a crowd because its already a great game, pre-1.5 :-) "Mom, I play Tera for the gameplay I swear!!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-2paFdRw_U |

Yes I do. I've been playing Beta events in NA servers. Very refreshing experience. Love the game and I will play retail version. If you are a WoW player, take in mind Aion is a more difficult game overall. It's more challenging, but I love that.

Its difficulty is more like Vanilla WoW. Checkers is more difficult than WoW these days. /snark
