Been playin WoW for a while(but takin a break for a bit)and i like that their doin this. and i agree with what some other ppl have said that they dont rly have to follow the lore exactly and that they can change it to what ever they want. I like a game that keeps evolving outside the limits of what gamers put in place, makes em squirm and well evolve on their own and the only ppl that dont like these changes r closed minded ppl who dont like change, why do u think kids are ahead of adults on the technology curve, its because we r more open minded than most of u oldfarts. i hope all the changes happen somewhat exciting and like i said b4 help fans of WoW evolve with the game and dont let the Xfire thing fool u i have more play time on WoW than that XD |

don't forget people, Blizzards B team is on this project (their A team is on the unannounced project atm) and thus has a high chance of being less steller than the last 2 expansions.
To be perfectly honest i would love to see huge major world changes in many MMO's and i do hope they go through with it. Why should the world remain exactly the same for 5 years? MMO wish list: -Changeable worlds |

Actually my only 'complaint' on the new race class combos are the Night Elf mages. Yes they stopped using magic because of it's corrupting forces. To throw some lore out, in the Warcraft RPG that was release, Night elves who dabbled in magic got addicted to it just like the Blood Elves. I know I know "But That's a pen and paper game not WOW!" I can hear you shout....and yes you are correct, but P&P RPG was still greatly backed by Blizzard and they did open up their resources for the game company who created it...But well, who knows this could be a 'planned leak' or a misinformation to create buzz...or a bit of both.

You see Scalebane, lore is just that, history, things that were...Ofcourse it changes. If the Maelstrom suddenly vanishes and because of that the Blood elves are not addicted to magic anymore..Ok 'it' happens, but it doesnt make SENSE...That is the biggest problem with some of the changes, right now they make no sense. Add the sense into it and all will be well. Make it 'lame' "OMG spacegoats from outerspace!" and it's not so good. |

There are already undead hunters in the lore http://www.wowwiki.com/Nathanos_Blightcaller
Please learn how to read...He's a Ranger not a hunter. Just because they both use a bow doesnt make them the same class. :)

A ranger is a hunter.. please read the full wiki post, he tames two beasts. "He has tamed two Blighthounds, always guarding him with their lives" I win! Now what would be nice is that when an undead hunter tames a beast the beast turns undead too.. but i guess with around 30 different different tameable specises thats a lot of work "making undead models" for little return. |

If the leaked details are true and most of the info from mmo-champ has been reliable in the past then that demonstrates how much Blizzard do not care about the people making them rich any more. Apart from meaningless racial bonuses and how the characters look and population imbalances there is no difference now between Horde and Alliance. The Lich King became nothing more than 3rd generation fans looking for even more quick winz than the 2nd generation. The first have long given up, I did. What is the point in a character selection screen if these details are true? Blizzard may as well have a screen come up saying "do you want to be generic character with horns or a generic character with a tail"? Even now people STILL have to pay for classic version and burning crusade and obviously lich king when they get to northrend, not having the latest expansion is such a massive disadvantage that I suspect the only ones who dont have it are rent-a-farmer. Name me one another MMO where you are forced to buy previous (5-6 yo) expansions to use the latest one. The only cool parts I read were the changing parts to old azeroth. Even the mighty Blizzard will have server crashes. If Blizzard was really cutting edge then that would make those changes on the fly without requiring a 2-day server downtime followed by a weak apology and a free 48-hour "whoops yeah whatever" AND make it part of the game, bringing back world pvp.
Am I the only one to find that Activision-Blizzard still claim 11.5 million play highly suspicious? It's neither gone up nor down by more or less than 50,000 (0.4%) in 10 months? |

By that logic. he has two pets out at a time and thus cannot be a hunter.
I win :)

Let me see if anyone can answer me this. Since this new expansion will use the phasing system, and suposing this is all true, for example i will see thousand needles underwater while a lvl 20 will see it like it is nowadays, is that it? |

Honestly, if this comes to pass, it will pretty much mean the death of the Horde as we know it. Thrall made Guardian of Tirisfal? Ogrimmar destroyed? Cairne accused of being a traitor and killed? Sheesh, why don't they just go and make it World of Alliance ffs. Well all I can say is I've been playing the game for 2.5 years and this is the biggest FUBAR I've seen to date. Now where did I put that Aion beta invite?? oh and PS... still no Belf druids. Cyn |

If this leak is true, I dont see them using phasing, it would confuse too many, those with the new xpac cannot twink a friend and so on, also can they phase within a phase? so I think it will happen like so. Every one will see the new azeroth, wether they just have vanillia wow, tbc wotlk or the new xpac, there will no doubt be events leading up to the big event and phasing it makes no sense to say a level 30 who saw the events leading up and then on expansion day its all gone and back to normal. does not make for a good consistant game experience. To experince the 80+ content, roll the new races, new profession etc then yes you buy the expansion, but azeroth as we knew it come expansion day will be changed for all to see, even new players who start playing after will see the new azeroth, to them it would make no difference. In short a new verison of azeroth is fine for new players and players returning will ove it too as the leveling from 1-60 will almost be like a new experience as many of the quests and locations will be different.

I seriously hope this is all true information. I woudl love for azeroth to be changed to spice up the 1-60 game so I'll actually wanna go through it again - as a Goblin! Here's hoping! |
