for taking in game vids and snapshots. Any one know a good tool that works fairly seamlessly for this purpose and is still free? |

this is all based on observations:
i am pretty sure FRAPS is the best free to use tool. That is based on the fact that most video's i watch are recorded with FRAPS and seems to be the tool of choice for most people.
No idea about any others though, maybe google it? MMO wish list: -Changeable worlds |

Just buy Fraps it's not expensive but I think Xfire is supporting more and more features that I think you can take pictures and stream video with it now. |

Check out CamStudio at www.Camstudio.org, slightly better quality then fraps, and without the annoying watermark plus being open source makes this the best free video recording software around. Good luck! |
