Because Whiting/CME/MMOGULS  are one and the same, like it or not. He controls all of the affiliates and CME/CMG stock through a tangled web of deception.  When an employee knowingly works for  a company whose Chairman raises millions of dollars from who knows how many investors, representing a product you KNOW is not near completion, when a employee continues to take a paycheck, knowing deep inside how the money is being raised, like the CEO  Tim Jenson or the past CFO and Corporate Counsel, you are nothing more than a accessory to the fraud.

If a person knowingly worked for a company whose founder was a drug dealer, and you knew he was laundering millions of dollars in drug money through the company, would you expect someone to feel sorry for the employees or company if the drug dealer was busted and took everyone down with him??   Well what's the difference???

Wow SemperFiVet - a small step for facts and large leap for assumptions. 

Most of what you are saying is what you've learned on these forums - it is not FACT - it is entertainment! 

While everyone likes to bash Whiting and it seems he has clearly done a lot of very stupid things.  Nothing you state about him has been proven to actually be true.  CME and Whiting are not the same.  Whiting's controlling interest does not make him the same as CME.  The 49% minority investors certainly don't want to be lumped in with Whiting.  The employees work for CME - not for Whiting, not for MMOGUL's!   If Whiting has done the things you mention, then every minority investor and employee and CME would love to see him in jail - but until some evidence is produced (if it exists) and until due process (I think people are still innocent until proven guilty in the country even though that is not the case on the forums or in the pubic arena), the employees, officers and investors continue to try to keep the company alive and moving forward.  Just because the majority owner is a crook (if he is), does not make everyone who associates with him a crook - and I am certain that none of the investors, employees or officers are collaborating with Whiting - they endure (resentfully) some of his actions, but they do not condone, agree with or collaborate with such actions - they focus on the developement of the game not on the politics.
