Well it just opened in CLOSED BETA give it some time before judging.

I'll wait tilI see if the gms will fix anything that is submitted in the bugs section before making conclusions.

no ones past the starter area that has a ton of people. Noones really touched anything worthwhile in the game. And what the hell do you people expect from quests.

Quest should be meaningful and epic.   Quest should not be a leveling tool in MMOs but a system that allows players to go out and explorer.

Ever play EQ1?  Quest should be like they were in EQ in its hayday.

Lol chat system was fine all you have to do is talk to the starter npc to get your questing started. Most people were running around doing the quests or enjoying the open pk environment. The graphics on high are very very nice. You must have played for a total of 5 min and then uninstalled.

The game was not great at all everything was average or below graphics on high were terrible, and character movements seemed choppy. To summarize it all the game is not different from any other free mmo

its one more standart f2p crap...

I hope some developers will learn that games like this don't have big chances on the market today.

Well I don't know if it was just on my UI, but my chatlines overlapped the actual chatbox, rendering me blind to what I was typing. Open PK was pretty cool yes, but it didn't feel like an option. I would be PvEing and then out of no where someone would attack me, while the PK option on my end was turned off - I was practically a sitting duck. I know there was a hotkey for turning it on, but it wouldn't just work, blame it as a bug I guess.

As for graphics, I had my settings all on high, and honestly, they were terrible. At first I thought it was just the lag due to the overcrowded areas, so I moved on to open areas to free it up; but even that didn't help - it felt very choppy.

I will be truthful, I didn't play for more than 20 minutes, but that's all I needed to conclude it was another F2p mmo that just isn't worth it. Maybe they will upgrade it in the final version, but I don't see how much better it can actually get.

I played for about the past two hours and I simply can't stand it any more.  I like the overall look of the game, but the controls and text mechanics are horrible.  I've already uninstalled it, I can't bear to play it again.  If any Karos developer is reading this, please redesign your mouse/movement controls, and come up with a more defined menu/UI system.

Agreed.

The graphics on high aren't horrible, they just are not all that special either. When I first logged in, I said outloud "Lineage".

Though I must say, the game could be ok with some serious work, I'm just not the one to help it get to that point. Hell, part of the class structure is still MIA. What IS there is not enough for me to personally stick around and offer feedback. It's too early beta (I hope for the game's sake) and I just don't have the time for it right now.

So far that's my impression. It's like they took a little bit of Shaiya.. Actually it's like they took a lot of Shaiya, and a little bit of other F2P MMORPG's, added a dash of bugs, didn't test much of anything on their end, and said here you go, try to enjoy.

i cant even get the damn client to update.. and when the launcher is open, all web surfing dies in other programs on comp...

My client wouldn't update either, then I read on the official forums to right click and run as administrator, and that did it!
