So, I was following Champions Online for a long time. Really unique class system and combat system. Only problem? They just announced a fricken' micro-transaction system, completely losing me as a customer and player. Now I'm looking for a new MMO.

As an old World of Warcraft fanboy, I'm really quite sick of the auto-attack systems. I want one that is all action and no auto-attack. AKA, you choose EVERY attack. I'm also looking for something that's quite customizable, both in play style and looks wise (including armor). I want it to be a monthly fee, but with NO micro-transactions. I want it to also be relatively new (at least newer than WoW and CoH). So, anyone have any suggestions?

AoC doesn't have the auto attack system, but its still a basic mmorpg.

u cud give dragonica a try, altough later on u will notice that u will use ur best combos all the time cuz no matter what the situation is u will always use ur best attack so ur pretty much hammering the same button on ur gamepad

i find phantasy star universe very entertaining, its mainly played with a joystick and u can be any class at any time u just have to level up ur classes. the thing is, that game is dead, atleast the pc version.

same goes for tabula rasa, awesome game but its cancelled.

latale will turn into a grindocre soon enough, but u still might wanna give it a try

and soon dungeon and fighter will be released but i thinks its only for US only (this is not confirmed)

exteel is an action mmorpg but u will only end up pvpeing there.

but this era of mmorpgs is soon gonna end, in about 1-2 years allot of action mmorpgs are gonna be released
so umm in the meantime we can just...... either stick with what we were doing or we could try new mmorpgs that will probably let us down but atleast we gave em a try.

infinity is... kinda fun cud give it a try, but all the skills are never permanent u buy em for a few days with in-game money.

Seriously? I'll respect your opinion on CO but I would give it a second chance, most MMO's either have a micro-transaction or are thinking about it. Basically for CO it's only going to be "Packs" pretty much like how CoX has it.

But if you're looking for something along the same route of customization I would wait for Earthrise.
