As for TOR if it launched this year it would be an incomplete mess. Q3 2010 is the earliest we're going to see it with the very real possibility that it'll be delayed until Q1 2011.
Yeah, wouldn't surprise me. They've made a point on saying they don't want to rush this. You only got one shot at launch, better make it a good one. |

I will be disapointed if this hits any later then christmas of 2010. 3 huge companies are working on this game, 2 of which have been there form the start. There is no reason that they could not get this out in 5 years. Now I highly doubt this will hit this fall because of dragon age, early 2010 is unlikely also due to mass effect 2. Now I could see it hitting Q2. That way Bioware could just have one long stretch of possiblely controlling the rpg market. Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time. If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day. AMD 4800 2.4ghz-3GB RAM 533mhz-EVGA 9500GT 512mb-320gb HD |

the problem most people are missing here is the mmo devision of bioware and the rpg devision of bioware are seperate. Not the same people making the games, it's like a few years back when you had back to back splinter cells because different devisions of Ubisoft were making the games. Masseffect 2 comes out in january, and dragonage is in christmass only because of a push back over a bug, it was sloted to release months ago. |

First est was set to 2009 Q4 so it is most likely it' sgoing to be released in 2010 Q4 at the earliest, most likely 2011 Q1 if u consider the releases of most other mmo's. |

I heard the developers have decided to follow the Darkfall development schedule, and this game will not release until 2021, and then only in the EU, if there is an EU in 2021. |

I thought Dragon Age was pushed back so the console version would launch at the same time. Anyway, I can buy Oct 2010 because no way in Hell it launches this year. Beta hasn't even started yet. Even if they announce beta at GamesCon or PAX, I'd say May 2010 at the earliest, and if they can't make that, then Sept/Oct. |

I don't think it's going to be released till atleast Q1 2011. Remember this is an MMO, it's going to be massive so it only makes sense it will have a pretty long development time. |

Ah I see that's how we're going to play it then.
Very well, my dad can beat up your dad. Also, do take note, while your dad is getting his face pushed in Bioware will be releasing TOR in Q3 2010 at the earliest. |

I think the October 2010 launch date is a pretty fair estimate, but of course even Bioware doesn't know what kind of issues they might run into that could push it back even further. |

Bad idea to release Q4 so close to World of Warcraft's next expansion. That's just my opinion. Q1 or Q2 would be better. |

I've yet to see any MMO company put a game up for pre-order that is still a year off. I also find it interesting that the only information about content updates to the game are about polish, such as the voice overs and graphical changes like the size of the lightsabers. My impression is that the game will release well before October 2010. |

We also have to remember this game has been in development for over 4 years as well. |
