http://www.gameobserver.com/review/inside/all-platforms/darkfall-online-darkfall-s-brave-new-world-of-agon-231/ Notice how people who have taken their time reviewing it don't spit out 2/10 in a few hours of playtime like eurofagger.

There is a huge lack of any real story in this game, punctuated by lackluster quests and unrealized role-playing opportunities. The menus may be very customizable, but they are also slow and ugly.
SOUND 82 Mostly good, immersive and gritty, but some sounds become repetitive or downright annoying. The music isn’t enthralling, but sets the mood. There is a distinct lack of natural environment sounds.
i don't really care, if some obscure reviewer enjoyed this game, anyone can enjoy anything at some point. but reading the description of these two points, and the marks he gave them, if freaking hilarious! |

It does seem that the longer the game is out and the more people review it the higher the scores DF is getting. Other than the Eurogamer review I think all the others have been fairly positive while highlighting the fact DF still has a long way to go to meet its potential. |

Yup, that's right... DarkFall is the ONLY official MMO review they have on their entire site. Hmm... so who has heard of this site again? Heh... anyone? |

Any way, new players are entering all the time and most of the feedback I'm hearing in game is the polar opposite to what we typically read from the critics on the boards. -CC "Lately it occurs to me, |

and mmorpg reviewed hundreds of games and still screwed up. I would rather believe gameobserver. |

MMOs require more reasoning and imagination than most stereotypically ''adult'' activities. |

It is amazing how reviews from people we have never heard of keep coming along and being positive... while, reviewers we have heard of, are all negative. Funny how that is. What I find even more funny. Every post you fanbots make about Eurogamer just bumps its google ranking a little higher. Go search for Darkfall reviews, the entire frontpage is about Eurogamer and Tasos flipping a lid, its a great first impression. So by all means keep counter flaming, and referencing the original. Oh, and let me throw up a back link just to help that rank a bit http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/darkfall-online-review |

Originally posted by Cyborg99 I think all of these one game review sites that have been popping up, that have coincidently only reviewed Darkfall, have either been paid off by Tasos or are simply fan submissions to the site as part of a campaign to try and create some some positive press for a game which has for all intents and purposes failed to live up the the expectations of the majority of the MMO community. And no review from an obscure gaming site is ever going to undo the damage that has been dealt to the game thanks to Tasos's campaign of misinformation and Aventurine's creation of a game that should be renamed Hack¯oFall Online. |

Heh, no problem... but your posting habits seem to be-lie your belief.
You can preach all you want that Game Observer and whatever other tiny little obscure sites are worth mentioning because they gave DarkFall an abnormally high review score. In the end, the gamers know which sites matter. They are the sites that have the most visits per day. They are the sites that attract the most advertisers. They are the sites that we are having this discussion on... unlike the site where the review came from.
But yeah... everyone knows this already. Anyway... as was mentioned already. There is a reason why the well-known sites seem to review DarkFall one way, and the lesser known another way. You decide for yourselves which sites you think are important. Remember though... actions speak louder than words. I'd consider posting regularly on a particular web site's forum a pretty strong indication of where the true significance of a particular web site is for a poster.

Heh, yeah pretty obvious when they are supposedly a Review site... yet the only game they have reviewed is... DarkFall. |

You know what's really funny? All these no-name websites being touted as "the truth" about Darkfall with their ridiculously high scores, and yet where do all the fanbots post the most? You would think they'd all move to these "better" and "more truthful" sites. But the fact is that they know that outside of a high score to try to help their spin here, those sites are meaningless. |
