Silkroad is in the top10... that's what happens when bots start using Xfire. (my objective here is not to discredit Darkfall, but to discredit Xfire, that can be manipulated in SO many ways) |

If I went from one player to 2 players I would have a 100% increase. BFD that is still a lose - lose situation. How about some actual subscription numbers? Actual paying players not the number in guilds that never get dropped, etc. Actual verifiable hard numbers. With all you slavering sycophants on here I am sure that one of you lap lickers can get the actual numbers from your man lover Tasos and the "logs to back it up" LOL. |

NA is a brand new server. To allow transfers from the start would have been rediculous for any one new playing DFO. You will get to transfer after 90-days, or you could have cancelled and used the monthly fee you saved to start in NA on day 1; choice was yours. You are not "stuck" on EU, just delayed in moving until the NA server has a chance to catch up to you for when and if you arrive. Of course there are a lot of players that got extremely high skills in EU by doing nothing but using their no drop starter weapon and shooting in the air. Now that's fixed, I'm sure we have our share of unhappy gamers that can't immediately use their unearned skills on NA yet. -CC "Lately it occurs to me, |

Funny how people will use xfire if it meets their agenda but dismiss it the rest of the time. i wonder who in this thread has done that before. Maybe the op...maybe |

Gotta love your posts. Paragraph 1 = You could have paid twice for the game and played on NA 1 from the start. Paragraph 2 = Everyone that doesn't want to pay twice has ill gotten skills anyways. This fan to english translation brought to you by Spishak! |

Actually china I am stuck. I had canceled my EU account waiting on NA release. We were told by AV prior to launch that When asked for clarification, they refused to respond. We were told by mods in IRC that we would be taken care of. That last sentence though is very damning. "if they would like to move to the us server when it launches" Not three months later... I dont want my character moved, I was perfectly happy starting over from scratch. In fact pretty much everyone I played with was under that understanding, and perfectly fine with it. My issue, is having to wait 90 days to play our version, and then on top of that being charged a fee to do so. Its double charging your customers, and bad business...and its costing them thousands of subscribers. |

I'm not a darkfall player, nor do I support the game.
However. When WoW was first released in the US, I had to pay 70 Euroes to play it. This is because I had to import a US copy of the game and Irish customs tacked on like 20-30 euro in some kind of wierd import tax onto the box. A few months later the game was released in Europe. There were not only no character transfers, there wasn't even the possiblity of one down the line in the near or far future. I had to chose to either play on the US servers or buy a new copy. In the end, due to time zones, IRL friends and other factors, I bought a new copy to play on the EU servers. I'm not saying the Darkfall devs are golden, but on this issue, it seems unfair that they are being singled out for something that SEEMS to be an industry standard. You can complain that this should change, throughout the industry, but don't blame darkfall like it's some new kind of scam they just came up with. |

It's funny. My xfire doesn't even recognize darkfall. Maybe I need to have it search for games again. EDIT: I had to manually tell it where to look for darkfall. |

they are allowing transfers, just not on day one? I can understand the arguement that perhaps they shouldn't charge for these. But I do believe that Blizzard charge for their transfers. All this said, I agree that DF's PR team sucks big time. |

Seeing how DF used to be #50 just this march(now its only #133), its ... what, a 38% drop? but wait, you aren't counting the decreases, only increases. So yeah, in that case DF always increases its numbers. I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time. |
