A state senator? Aren't you kind of reaching here, pop? I mean how many politicians on the state level do you think are boinking interns from both parties? Probably too many to count. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tK6YIAX1jg |
If he was a libertarian mayor, yeah... I'd be reaching. lol |

I don't think this is meant as a hit piece. I think its a high five piece to think a state senator can boink an attractive 22-year old intern. |

Wow you found one STATE senator out of 1000's that had a sex scandal. The left is just as bad if not worse than the right at digging up irrelevant dirt. |

"And just because I fell far short of what God's standard was for me and my wife, doesn't mean that that standard is reduced in the least bit." No, not at all Senator Douche Bag.

The point seems to be eluding you here.
Holier than thou.

Well you know what, pop, just because every human is imperfect and falls short of the glory of God, let's just throw standards out altogether. Let's start to encourage people to cheat on their spouses. Let's make lying acceptable. That huge scandal in New Jersey right now that includes politicians and rabbis, let's drop the charges and allow them to continue doing it. I mean these people are just being who they are. And by not trying to adhere to standards any longer, I mean that can only be good for society, right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tK6YIAX1jg |

Originally posted by Zindaihas You're blowing things a little out of proportion here. This guy actually said that unmarried people should not have sex. Seriously, this guy must have some huge balls to bang a 22 year old, after saying THAT, and then basically saying that what he preached isn't tarnished by what he did. |
|
This is a guy who's whole professional life appears to be dictating to other people what they should be doing and how they should be doing it, while he disregards that same advice and commits the act he's admonishing others not to. If you can't see the humor and funny in that, you probably shouldn't be in this thread because it's extremely ironic and worth of a good laugh, lol. This has nothing to do with perfection as the senator said he already fell short. You want to make lying acceptable? Then you are apparently in the right party. You can expand on this as you wish to distract or include other scandals, but sex scandals are way more interesting than boring old graft cases.
Realize he's making me laugh, not making me mad, lol. It's a good thing. :) |

Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time. If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day. AMD 4800 2.4ghz-3GB RAM 533mhz-EVGA 9500GT 512mb-320gb HD |

No, no, no. You're missing my point entirely. Republicans at least try to stand for strong values. Some only give it lip service, perhaps to satisfy their voters. Yes, those that do are hypocrits, I'll give you that. But you are impugning an entire party for standing for values. The Democrats seem to get away with scandals much more readily than Republicans because they simply lower the bar. Let's downplay values so that when we get caught doing something wrong, we don't look like hypocrits. But by that logic, why shouldn't all Americans in all corners of society simply dump values and do what seems right to them? Then, there's no way anyone can disappoint anyone else. Wouldn't that be good for America? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tK6YIAX1jg |

I'd just like to point out that when a republican gets busted, he resigns...as he should.
When a democrat gets busted, they call their best friend their lawyer and start a taxpayer paid investigation costing millions..and somehow retain office through it all. hypocrits on the right? I think not. mistakes, yes. He should be out on a rail. |

Alot of this is media bias.Republicans get reported a lot more than Democrats.I live in North Carolina.Other than the John Edwards thing the rest of the democrat politicians in my state dont get reported on National Level news.We have an several Investigations ongoing with Mike Easley(ex gov.) and his wife from evertything on her hiring innappropriately at UNC State to Missappropriation of funds.None of it makes National level News. |

As always in such situations, I feel bad for his family; and also kinda bad for the people who take pleasure and find humor in things like this. |

Or people who simply take pleasure out of the suffering of others. Schadenfreude FTL. |
