I'm a huge Naruto fan as well as an avid mmo gamer. I think a ninja style MMO based in the naruto world would kick some ass. Someone make it please. K thanks

Not a big Naruto fan, but I'd play that game if they got the combat/skill sets right.

It could be interesting and worth playing if they make it well.

Of course, you can say that about every single product known to man.

A really cool idea, and I hate to tear down something good in your life with this observation but... Naruto would undoubtedly either scoop up a lesser well known Asian company to kick it out and thus it will be full of gimicks and suck horribly, or it will be scooped up by a well known company that ISN'T Square Enix and involve microtransactions. NC Soft, I'm looking at you.

I always see this topic pop up once in a while on these forums.  I also would love to see a Naruto MMO.  I've been waiting for years to hear news of this, but it still hasn't happened.  The series is just perfect for a MMO.

Or it could be another Japanese company that isn't Square.  I don't know of any other Japanese MMOs, though.  Sega has PSU, but I would not want them to touch Naruto at all.

No need to be naruto mmo but a ninja style mmo were you jump on houses, use ninja tools to climb high buildings wall walking, stealth kills.... oh would be good to be true xD

I'm sure my major goal here on the forum is to scour it for people who like Naruto. Why do you need to tell me what I don't already know? Of course it is my opinion, I stated it.

At any rate I don't think it would work in an MMO setting.

(also I prefer my shows to have a bit of depth to them, not the same basic recycled plot over and over ;p)

Yeah, to each his own. The original Naruto was laughable. Everyone grew up a little in Shipuuden, and I have to say, it's refreshingly better.

As for the MMO, well, I don't know. Like others have said already, it'd depend on how well the company does it. It could either turn out really well or really badly.

I also wouldn't mind seeing an Avatar (the Last Airbender) MMO. The one show produced by Nickelodeon that doesn't melt your brain with its stupidity.

mmi love naruto but in mmo they loose the laugh and silly factor like when he goes and try to eat noodle but a friend has to pay for it or when he run away etc when they make this game (in console)it lost all what makes naruto well naruto 

i like naruto for everything around the fighting is just a bonus but if it was just fighting it would be boring

same thing for one piece

i love this serie it started slow but men this kid is one silly dude

and his friend are even sillyer then him(lufy)and i bet if they made an mmo of one pice it would suck 

they dont translate from movie or cartoon very well dev have a hard time to understand this i rater not have an mmo like thos instead of  loosing the essence of why one piece as 410 episode and counting 

same for bleach its a good anime but trying to make it into an mmo they would probably need the exact dude or dude who thot those serie in the first place

i just saw the new movie dragonball men they lost the essence of that serie in trying to make a movie out of the cartoon 

they would have been better to just do it digital but still anime style

i would rater not have mmo made for those ,

like one-piece the website i listen it from had to use japan word and literally translate some word 

why ?

they felt the exact translation wording used didnt reflect the exact emotion the character in the anime felt 

and they were right ,like the toon would overract but i couldnt understand why,im like another silly asian style

i was wrong the translator just couldnt translate the emotional factor 

one they started using japan word but translated exacly the total of what it could mean it made so mutch more sense why they

overracted the way they do 

imagine ,they loose that mutch just in translating it to english 

so it would be almost impossible do make a game that reflect those so cool anime

naruto mmo should be good asset. as we can choose what playstyle we want

- taijutsu (physical attack)

- ninjutsu (tricks and ninja primary art)

- genjutsu (illushional and magics)

now choose your element

- fire

- lighting

- wind

- earth/wood

higher level can have multiple elements if they wish by collecting certain items to obtain multiple elements.

i want to play rock lee playstyle which is taijutsu with super fast movements and berserker power.... speed and power opening gates however loses lots of hp when done.

I'm a huge Naruto fan, and while I would love to see a Naruto MMO game, I personally don't think any development studio could do the series justice.

Have any of you played the Naruto console games?  They're absolutey horrible.  Not the actual game, mind you, but in the way it represents the Naruto world.

 Naruto is about ninjas as much as raw sewage is tasty. Its not a anime about ninjas, its about stupid children using magic. As far as a mmo, well i think you know.

If one had the money to make the game the way they wanted it might turn out alright.  I had also thought about a Naruto based MMO, but the problem is the lack of money and power to make it.  Sure you can create a demo to sell to a software company, but then your idea is washed away as they remake it the way they want.

I still don't understand how someone who is in a neon orange coat and pants while yelling at the top of his lungs can say he will be the best ninja ever.

Because everyone knows that yelling and orange clothing make for the best stealthyness a ninja can obtain. I have to say that personally i find cartoons such as Naruto and Dragonball to have a pretty repetative plaot to it as the plot can be summoned up likr this.....

Part 1

Oh no some big bad Ninja\Deamon\Alien is comming to beat us up, he is even more powerfull than the last Ninja\Alien\Deamon we defeted, lets do some training\Find an artifact\wepon to defeat him\her\it.

Part 2

the enermy is here lets fight and almost get creamed then suddenly through some sort of revelation that lets us defeat the Ninja\Alien\Deamon in some spectacular fashion.

Personally tho id prefer they did a ninja MMO that was not attached to any known program or cartoon as such a thing would just put limits on how such a MMo could work.

If i was designing one i would make it a very stealthy one a bit like what you get in early Splinter Cell games with some limited rune based magic [i.e. your guy has a wooden chip or paper slip with a one use rune on it which can ahve a simple effect such as knocking out a NPC guard or could be used as a simple dart like wepon that kills silently]. It would also ahve a main storyline quest with mainly assasination\theft\or intel gathering stealth missions. With some non NPC stuff based on Player made Ninja Dojoes fighting over good NPC areas with NPC bonuses for the domanant Dojo in that area.

Suffice to say tho that a Ninja MMO needs to have a LOT of real stealth in it.

 a few years back, dont remember if it was before or after naruto went to america, there was a naruto mmo project made by a group of fans. i believe they were shut down with threats. everything is made into mmos nowadays, so dont be surprised if naruto will be made as well. look at Dragonball, last i remember there was an mmo in the works for it. naruto would probably be better off it were skill based and had people create their own techniques. maybe have very rare instances where a character could some how inherit a bloodline(cant remember if this is what its called, been about 5-6 years) technique.
