Perhaps if you gave us some details, we might be more sympathetic. I use skooma so that I can work harder and longer and make more money so I can buy more skooma. I don't see a problem.

If so, to get the free month did he have to open a brand new account?

I find that most of the time the problem is that the customer doesn't know how to read... Or just doesn't care to read, and assumes a lot... I could be wrong.

To get the free month you either have to have a new account or upgrade a trial account. You won't get the free month if you are adding MoM to an existing (active or expired) account.

I guess he will never play a MMO then because all online games need a credit card info before you can even play. To do the tryout they need a credit card info, that doesnt mean they will be charging you unless it goes past that trial time. So all you have to do is give them the info let it accept then go back into it and cancel it and you have your free trial. :)

With that deal they had going recently (over now) Technically, Turbine paid you 5$ to play for the first month.
