I kinda understand why some people don't like Darkfall. It seems unprofessional compared to games like Lotro and Aoc. I tried those games and liked it but I prefer Darkfall anyway because I feel more freedom and unrestricted.

like how many players can you see at the time you log in? I am wondering if there are a decent amount of players in the NA server. Are people grouping or you see more soloers?

Aside from that I am here to tell you that we all waste time and money on games we wind up disliking. I wasted money buying WoW and hated it. I wasted a significant amount of time playing the Aion beta and hated it.

Listen, i dont like Aion either, i payed for it and i felt i wasted my 5$ for the beta. But still i believe aion is not a bad game, is just i dont like the asian style. But i have to admit that Aion has good things that need to be recognized, like good art, amazing animations, not buggy, good code and alot of other things that game developers understand. Even if i dont like aion i recognize its value as a video game.

I can see no value on darkfall being 50$ on this economy.. this game is worth 10$ max

and MO is worth 75 LMAO its using the unreal engine for peats sake

It uses the AWARD WINNING Unreal Engine 3 and it is is a houndreds time better than whatever junk engine DF is using.

Just take a look at this and if you honestly think the DF gfx is anywhere near as good then you are blind.

i never said df gfx where better or close to unreal engine but what mmo has been any good on the unreal engine . i hate to say it but i bet the gfx for mo will be very blaa

Xfire is useless in any case. The only thing it can be used for is to see when a game has sold more copies and how much the population has changed in a given game, not across games. To prove my point good look at my xfire profile, over the past 2-3 days I have added 56hrs to darkfall. How? Leaving my comp on 24/7. Thus, if I were to get 10 people to do the same thing the data on xfire would be manpiulated. Alright?

Graphics 2/10 = Considering next gen mmos and most mmos out there this game looks like everquest -1

Sound 0/10= wtf is with that scream when you die

Animations 1/10= Worst animations i ever seen on a video game... Full of glitches and ... well you get the idea

Gameplay 1/10= I understand is a free world and you do whatever you want.. .. so is eve and you get more direction on that game. On this game you get trown into the world and thats it.. you figure it out. And i did.. and well.. not much to do besides grind grind..and kill other players with no reason other that getting their items..

I played the game with an honest open mentality, expecting nothing. i played ever mmo out there and this one is one of the worst i ever played.

 

 There isn't a shred of information in your starting post that shows you played the game.    That post could go in any forum of any game.       In the .0000000000000000001% chance you really have this game, post your character name and race.

Except that no one except a DF Fanbot would even look at the hours that way "leave the pc on to manipulate XFire" and we have all seen what happened here on MMORPG.com with Tasos and other fanbots trying to manipulate the rate system so yeah thats something I would expect the DFO community to do.

So if they are trying to manipulate the numbers they are loosing people faster then they can create false Xfire accounts to pad the game statistics.

First, let me say I never liked xFire and I think it's a poor way to judge a game's subscription numbers. For the plain, simple fact that not everyone uses it.

That's possible in a few cases, but when you start seeing dropping numbers en masse, it's not a very logical argument. If anything, Darkfall fans would want high xFire numbers, so they can promote the game through it saying, "Look! We have ___ number of subs while ___ game has lost ___ percent of theirs! Darkfall is the best (niche) game evar!"

Makes alot of sense if you actually are an Xfire user (like me). For some reason Xfire is causing issues with some people when playing DF. The Xfire forums have a few posts about lag spikes and whatnot. How many are effected who knows. I dont have any problems running it but some do. Though I do agree that Xfire isnt the best way to track sub numbers.

P.S. For some reason I cant get my Xfire Sig to work on this site. I C&P the URL like it says to but it dosent show up when I post. Any other Xfire users having same problem?
