1.  More efficient to make 1 version of animation instead of making 2 versions just because of  heel and no heel.

2.  Heeled version will look the most realistic when mesh to look like flat sole shoes while the opposite will not. 

3.  Heeled boots model also allows other types of shoes to be made such as padded or raised shoes with more ease.

4.  Cost less for the animation work and doing both.

5.  Heeled shoes looks pretty cool and stylish.  (This is personal opinion only though)

In the name of efficiency, flexiblity, aestheticism, and cost effectiveness.  I render your line of question and opinions meaningless in the realm of logic.

You can always pick a game where the shoe mesh is barely recognizable.  Problem solved.

Is it a Korean thing? I know Korean women don't have the longest legs in the world, but isn't a little too much? Maybe it's just me and I'm not used to the culture.

Not going to stop me playing the game, but insisting that EVERY female be in high heels through-out the game even via weird claws is just really odd to me. Growing claws like that is similar to normal women growing extra long-freaky-bone to also make it look like high heels.

Having armor that shows enough skin to make the women look more attractive in gaming is one thing (and of course can be compared to this high-heels thing), but do Korean's really find high-heels so in-grained into what makes a good women (whether good-looking, elegant, and its general importance in judging a female)  that they MUST add it like games add unreasonable armor designs? (personally, I am against the whole unrealistic armor styles from women)

 

And this isn't a joke, I'd honestly like to know why Korean's feel the need to add high-heels to all females in a game, and whether or not this whole 'high heels' thing is spread within the culture.

If gaming companies could get away with it, female avatars would run around bare butt naked..... and I'd probably go out of my way to buy that game.

I personally don't like or dislike the clawed high heels. But I think it matches the delicate feminine armor. Wearing a pretty frock and flat shoes looks a bit silly

I know my husband does and had me act out a few of those fantasies when we first got married so I would not just put this trait on Korean men. It is something that is just accepted with these genres. its simply a demographic marketing tool.

The average person playing the game is going to be 12 - 30 year old males. Its pretty much a given, that that demographic likes half naked, well endowed, elvish looking females. I mean its sad, but even I have to admit I ended up picking my race in aion based ont he most attractive female models. Is it sad and pathetic? Yes. Does it do what it was designed tod ow ith the targeted demographic? yes.

High heels and skimpy costumes on females in a video game? I don't really see a problem with it. However with the rise of 21st century metrosexualism and the continuing evolution of womens lib, why not high heels and skimpy outfits on the male characters?

Really? Because in another thread I actually believe that I stated that the character's original voices sound cool. It was a simple question of wondering if this was a Korean thing or not, I wouldn't take offense if someone asked me whether or not something that I do is a part of my culture.
