Well if none of you knew there is another game just announced as far as i know and its called Berkanix. Im not trying to start a hype train but this game looks fucken rad. Check it out. Ten people who speak make more noise than ten thousand who are silent. |

Okay, even I thought that was cool. Especially the end where they celebrate on the really big dead mofo and then the REALLY BIG mofo flies over 'em. |

that was pretty cool, gameplay looks like a lot of fun, graphics and artstyle looks reminds me of like a sci-fi aion.
i was sold at 2:43... and again at 5:48 :| |

It looks interesting, but I'm not sold just yet. There were alot of characters in that trailer that looked quite similar, and a lack of individuality is a major turn-off for me. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - |

Berkanix is a sci-fi MMORPG which Sonov has spent three years developing. It is based on Unreal Engine 3.0 and integrates the experiences and technologies accumulated from Shaiya, DragonSky, NEO Online and other MMORPGs of Sonov. Featuring unique actions, stunning graphics and massive storyline which are not available in any other online games, Berkanix is definitely a highly anticipated MMOG for 2009. At the conference, Sonov made great efforts to introduce Berkanix to the audience, unveiling the game's basic intro, world view as well as a video containing combat scenes. In addition, its browser game and comics were also unveiled at the conference, fully demonstrating the concept of "one resource, multi-use"..Berkanix is a sci-fi MMORPG with a mysterious atmosphere. There are no classes or armor or level restriction in the game. Several user interfaces will be displayed on the screen, so it will look a little bit complicated. Most systems are item related. It is expected that the game will launch closed beta in the winter of this year.

BerkawaitWHAT?! That was crazy! Awesome trailer + great asses. Still, I wonder whether this will have pvp or opposing player factions. It looked like one big pve bug grind. edit: Ah, there was a pvp scene as well. |

It had good looking graphics and seemingly generic gameplay. I could distinguish a targetting system and repeated use of the same combos. The group seemed to consists of your typical setup with tank, mêlée damage, ranged damage and healer. Not to mention the dungeon which seemed to be clearing of some insects till you get to the final boss. Didn't see much to make me hyped about...

Edit: There are also a few things in there RF never actually managed to do, but they either talked about it or would have loved to given the resources. |
