I've had the urge to get back to AC after some years away. So I try to reactivate my account, with no luck. I've tried to create a new account and I get error messages. I've tried contacting customer support, but they don't reply. Any idea what these error messages are?

Those don't appear to be any of the normal errors people can get. Are you sure you have the CC info typed in correctly? Also I'd try creating another trial account, that part might of just been you catching a small down time in the system. |

Visit their tech support thread or e-mail their tech support, especially if you have the error number they should be able to tell you exactly what it is. |

It's been six days since I contacted them. They have not replied. As I have no account I cannot post on the forums. I would be grateful if someone could do so on my behalf. The error code is "your credit card has been rejected." Yet according to my credit card company, the transaction has been authorised, twice in fact. So I am at a loss of what to do. "These errors which you are receiving usually indicate that your credit card company does not recognize Turbine as an authorized online subscription company. Many credit card companies have tightened their restrictions, especially with online purchases over the past several years due to increasing fraud.
Links are given on the replys messages for LOTRO, DDO, and AC where you can contact support. Since I don't have any issues with them I ddn't click on the supplied links. That is the Turbine reply about those error messages.
It took me about 45 seconds to find the Knowledge base on the Asheron's Call website.

As you may not have read previous posts, my credit card HAS been authorised by my credit card company. Turbine seem to think otherwise.

You can call "By Telephone: 781-407-4020, Monday through Friday 4:00pm EST to 8:45pm EST" but I have a feeling it won't be much help. They will probably tell you your card is declined and that's it. Do you only have one card? I would try another. If not, I think you're out of luck. You will be stuck in circles, both companies blaming each other. |
