also the price of boxed/LE includes solid 7€ of shipping fee, seems bit harsh i ordered some ps2 game from amazon.com/NA to EU with around 5$ shipping fee.

LoL are you comparing StarVault to Amazon? Do you know how big their logistical system is. They send milions of articles around the world every week. No wonder they can push down delivery costs if they send their stuff by the container.

no i am not comparing, original plot was to point out that 7€ shipping fee included but then i went and rambled something that i now realize was totaly unecesary and made me look stupid so enjoy your LoL.

Know what, I think I've changed my mind. Star Vault should double their prices instead, the kind of suckers who fall for it aren't fit to handle money anyway.

Oh, and once you're done with the game I have another good deal for you, buy the Brooklyn bridge from me now, and I'll throw in a piece of the true cross at no extra charge!

There is one VERY important detail those who complain about the monthly fee have possibly overseen too...

I quote:

"The monthly subscription cost includes all future updates and expansions for Mortal Online. No additional costs will be charged for future expansions."

There will never be paying expansions, like e.g. Burning Crusade or WotLK. The price of the MO expansions is included in the monthly fee. So at the end, it's not that bad.

That's a huge assumption that the game will be good enough for people to subscribe past the first month.

Gotta love the elitism on these forums.  Just because some people like to buy a game makes them suckers.  It is a good thing that so many people in this world know what makes me happy.  Hell, I can just sit back and let everyone else make up my mind for me!

Such venom in your post.

10,000 of us agreed to pay the prices for this game and beta chance, and you are upset because you don't want to...

People like you, so upset that the world doesn't work the way they believe it should, always blame and ridicule those around them.

Why? Is it that you couldn't afford it, or that you "know" you could have made the game and sold it cheaper?

I managed my finances just fine in order to make sure I wanted to, and could afford to, pay for this game.

Sounds like you had the problem handling money.

I also included the option of "it should have been cheaper".

And why wouldn't they? It's common sense, if you can't afford something or don't want to pay that much for something, you don't buy it. It is SPECIALLY true for something as optional as a video game. It's not like you are in the desert, totally broke, and the flask of water included in every MO box is gonna save your life, it's only a game, if it's too expensive for you, be it for financial or ethical reasons, pass on it or wait for cheaper options.

If you wonder why I don't answer your posts, it's most likely because you are on my ignore/block list. I recommend its use to everyone here - it helps you stay sane, avoid trolls, and by not answering to the troll's bait posts, avoid problems.

So big deal, european pays more, your not alone, i'm canadian and i pay more too.  15$ US per month is about 18$ Can so...

If you cant afford 20$ per month for a game, you should do something else.

Ok so I read a few pages of this.

First off blame the government for such a ridiculous VAT, not the company. The price the company is charging sounds fairly normal and that the tax is where the problem is coming in.

Secondly to the person who complained about the store opening at 3 am in their time zone. Well get more people in your company to buy MMOs the way the US does. Asia is the biggest buyer of MMOs, then the US. You tend to play to the largest market.

If I was a company I wouldn't decide to lose a large chunk of my profits because of a government's ridiculous tax rate either.

He would still rather complain about it and make it sound like he is some kind of victim here.  Heavens forbid a company tries to make money, we should all convert to Communism so those like maacaavityy can have everything in exchange for their two cents.

Money in politics is the root of all political evil. It is corruption at it's worst.

Right... so if I would go to a restaurant and they would charge me twice as much for coffee than any other cafe then I shouldnt complain right? Because I am not in "the desert, totally broke, and the flask of water included in every coffe box is gonna save your life",

Get real, ofcourse if the price is higher than the market price then people will complain, and rightfully so. Ofcourse Starvault can charge whatever they like but if they want to get customers, and retain them, they need to justify their higher than average price. So far I have not heard any justifications for it (from them, not from you or any other wanna be Starvault spokesman).
