No explination?  What caused it to be boring?  What level did you reach? Which MMO do you feel is better and why?  What aspects of the MMO that you like, are better than Aion in comparison to the level you played?

This weekend was the first time I played the beta.

After playing WoW for so many years, I found Aion refreshing and most important: fun!

It kept me going for almost 12 hours straight, enough said I think.

Ofcourse, it's all in personal taste

I only been playing a few hours this weekend and i have yet to see why the OP said it's a grind, i been doing quest and lvl to 10 realy fast and easy so is there some grind alter on >?<

Aion is awesome! WoW is Fail!

So you would rather play on DC with the incredible lag (enough to crash the server) and faction imbalance?  Not to mention all the retardedness that hasn't been fixed by Mythic yet?  Aion might be WoW with wings, but WAR is WoW stripped of polish and a bunch of bandages covering it.  Tell me, how many times have you tried to hop a fence, or a short rock in WAR, only to get stuck on it?  How many times have you WALKED down a hill and lost more than half your HP?  How many times have you sat at a door spamming abilities on it?  How many times have you killed the same NPCs and waited at a flag?  How many times have you killed a keep lord, that had a totally different name, totally different skin, but was the same lord as every keep?

I just assume you still play WAR because it's in your sig.  Aion is definitely nothing amazing, but from what I've played it ran MUCH better than WAR.  I couldn't get stuck on a rock if I tried all day.  Haven't lost half my HP to walking down a hill, that was made to be walked down.  I haven't gotten into the Abyss, but I haven't been hearing much about smacking doors all day.  As long as the PvP is nothing like WAR's idea of PvP, and the game runs fine, I will try it till endgame.

Been pvping for 7 hours now in the CBT3, 5 AM here and going to sleep even tho I don't want. That's how "boring" it is.

You see the chars have wings, you see the leveling progression is through quests.

It's not that your opinion is wrong, I just find it weird that you prefer a broken game.  I've been subbed to WAR since release until this month.  That means I was fully supportive of Mythic and their game.  I gave them more than enough time to prove they were as good as I thought they were.  I've been waiting and waiting for them to fix the most basic problems of the game, yet they still haven't been fixed.  Instead they use quick fixes instead of true ones, and release content in hopes that people will forget the bugs, etc. 

Sorry.  I am just pissed at Mythic.  I had faith in them, and saw the potential in WAR.  I see Aion for what it is, the same as the rest, only it actually feels good.  Who knows?  I could be here in 9 months bitching about how all we do is bash on doors, but so far the game feels really smooth.  I haven't tried any real PvP yet, so I can't judge how boring the game is yet.  All MMOs are boring to me without knowing what the PvP is like.  They're all the same, pick up quests, kill mobs, repeat... boring.  That's the one thing Mythic got right, too bad the rest of the game is ass.

WoW is just a game...Aion is just a game...most or all RPG's are a grind...therefore MMORPG's won't be any different. Anything that allows for massive amounts of people to gather in one place on the internet is considered an mmo....therefore WoW has been killed already. THE END!
