Wasn't a problem just some years back. A couple of years ago I saw a statistic saying that 46% of all youth crimes in Denmark is committed by immigrants. A minority which is about 1/10th of the whole population, so very roughly can one say they are purely statistically about 9 times more criminal than the danish population. Now tell me am I a racist for wanting to restrict how many immigrants we get in? You're not racist at all. You're simply trying to protect your countries culture and identity. There is not a thing wrong with that. It's a glue that bind people just as tradition does. =============================== |

No thanks, I enjoy living in a society where not every idiot can get their hands on a gun. http://www.abanet.org/gunviol/factsaboutgunviolence/uscompared.shtml
I enjoy carrying my gun. That way I know that if any idiot decides to come mess with me I can end that confrontation and dispose of the trouble maker. Makes for good neighbors when they know that house on the corner I live in is well guarded by owner. =============================== |

There is a greater chance of you being a victim of a homicide without owning a gun than there is with you owning one given the same parameters for each.
This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed. |

And I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the reason for more homicide is that the robber winds up dead instead of running away with all the loot. |

And I'm gonna break that limb and reason that someone pulling out a gun on a robber makes the robber more likely to pull his gun out instead of just taking off with the loot. So basically it comes down to a shootout.
Either let the guy take what he came for ,risk that he isn't one of the very small percentage of homicidal manics, and call the cops and catch him later. OR pull out your gun and watch him pull out his to protect himself. Better hope he doesn't get off the first shot, and/or you don't miss. |

What statistics? Did the crips and bloods fill out a survey?
I was arguing that if someone is breaking into your house, you are more likely to get yourself or your family killed if you pull a gun on the guy instead of just letting him take whatever. Don't get me wrong, I think people should be able to have a gun in their house if they feel the need and are responsible with it, but my logic tells me it's only going to increase the chance of someone innocent getting hurt. |

I for one want people to remember that when they visit me. |

Honestly, I think a lot of people who own guns and brag about it want someone to break into their house just so they can play rambo and get to shoot someone. |

While I certainly play Rambo everytime I think I might have intruders on the premises, it's the sort of Rambo game that ends up with me getting a life sentence if I "win". It's more of a "no win" since the police don't answer the phone. |
