There have been any number of times where I stayed in the Real World (I.E. not LotD) to protect the folks in LotD from being locked. And with less members on my side, it was more guerrila-tactics-heavy; running around, snagging a thing or two, pulling the rug out from under Destro now and again, and harrassing in a way only an inferior force can do. There's still RvR. And it's not the huge 100v100 battles that chug the server down to almost nothing, either. Also, the purges sometimes turn into 'holds'; a bunch of Destro holding us at base while their buddies run instances, swapping in and out groups as they go along. I do a lot of spying; Land of the Dead hasn't killed RvR and it isn't likely to anytime soon. |

Seriously... Anybody defending Mythic or WAR needs a reality check. YES. If you choose the right server, you won't have many problems finding pvp. You will, however, have to deal with extreme lag (and by extreme I mean barely being able to move), server crashes (rare these days, but last time on DC it still happened), and population imbalance. I played on Dark Crag since release, and I know for a fact the lag is horrendous. I recently rolled on Praag, got to T4 a bit before LOTD was released, and SCs were taking an hour or more to pop (this was happening in T3 also). LOTD released, and the RvR lakes had one faction in it, while the other faction was in LOTD. I actually found a tiny bit of RvR in the lakes after LOTD, and maybe it's picked up by now. The thing is, I'm done with WAR until I actually hear some good news. Everyone I knew on DC quit long before LOTD. The game is just not good enough. They were given more than enough time to solve actual problems, instead they took that time to create more content. Sorry, but that doesn't make any sense to me. If you people actually believe Mythic is doing a great job, and that WAR is fine, that's great. Just know that I've been playing since the CE beta, and have been subbed since release. I just recently canceled because LOTD is a garbage IMO, and I'm through waiting for Mythic to fix anything. |

Yeah, this video shows how you can do what you just describe above in LOTD with a few Order people and traps. This tiny group of Order players (like yourself) is just having fun killing Destro by triggering traps.

People need to leave well enough alone, if you are nto paying activily for a game you have no clue, if you have never played, you ahve no clue, and if you are not paying for it activly you have no say, as you are not putting money into development. Move on and troll yourself, leave games along that you do not play. It is quite simple, say you do not like it, state why, and move on.
Not quite sure I see any evidence of 'having a clue" from those who still play either. Not everyone who posts their dissatisfaction with the game is a clueless troll, just means the game doesn't meet their expectations.

I find population complaints funny. When the game started I made sure I was on a full server and I had a great time. I just re-subbed, made sure I was on a full server and I'm having a great time. it's not really rocket science. |

Woah now... Whoever threw out GW's name needs to take it back and go read up. GW doesnt make these games they sign-out the contracts for people to make these games. They are making 100% profit and can careless if the game fails. In my op, GW should keep their contracts with THQ open because the THQ studios are doing awesome jobs with the Warhammer 40k universe (Relic/Space Marine, DoW 1&20). And yes even DoW2 was a good game. Sub to me on YouTube @ http://www.youtube.com/user/JJJK29isGaming?feature=mhee |

I really don’t agree wit anyone saying things are “fine” w/ the game. My sub is still active, but I stopped playing about a week ago. It ends in a week thankfully. I play on Iron Rock, and those claiming that the server is “rocking” … IDK… when are you playing? I’d play EST primetime. I’ve seen a HUGE HUGE drop off in activity from previous game sessions. I’ve experienced the same problem most of my guild has in LotD’s PvE-fest. In made more of a separation then bringing conflict. And those that DO stay out of LotD when their realm have it won, are outnumbered 10 to 1 in the RvR lakes now. It’s no fun. Personally, I had always thought that WAR’s PvE was subpar at BEST, but that wasn’t what I enjoyed. I enjoyed all the constant back-n-forth struggle in the RvR zones. But that gradually got less and less. For the past 3 months, people on Iron Rock rarely even attempt forts (other then after LotD, where the losing realm takes them b/c the winners are PvEing in LotD) it was just Scen pop after scen pop. I stuck with it though, in the hopes that LotD was going to be the savior. It wasn’t. It failed me personally. I’m not even interested in Aion, or CO, or much of anything w/ a date. I’m just going to not play an MMO. B/c not paying to not RvR just makes more sense to me. |

Well first of all I'm talking tiers 1 – 3. I just came back after not playing for many months. So I don't know how Iron Rock was weeks or months ago, but on t1 – t3 there is plenty of RvR and Scenarios. I just started 2 new chars and the lower tiers are good times. And I don't even know what LotD is. They added a new area? Ha ha, that's too funny. That's just what the game didn't need.

Yeah, me too. I play on Karak Norn EU and although for the first 3-4 days everybody seemed to take a vacation to the south things came back to normal pretty fast. Lotsa killing to be had in T4 zones and there's always someone shouting for reinforcements somewhere. Tho I was a bit skeptical about lotd at first I admit that it did not manage to kill the orvr. I still stand by my opinion that it would have been much better as a regular and always open rvr zone but with PQs and PvE stuff mixed in (what's sorely missing in existing RvR lakes). However, it's not that bad even like this - a vacation from the relentless T4 war. |

Cut the crap, dude. I started on Dark Crag back in December with my friend and watched it go from low-med to high pop due to xp bonus. Dark Crag was packed back in mid spring but it is past its peak where you had to wait to log in during prime time. Mythic has been pissing off players who like the game, saw its great potential and stuck through the nonstop problems & lies. Players are slowly leaving. Dark Crag, Ironrock, Praag & Phoenix Throne are the only servers really left. You can't enjoy WAR on the rest of them, they might as well shut them down. Most of the complaints are by players who actually like Warhammer but are just pissed off by its problems, which Mythic just refuses to fix. The Land of the Dead was just a slap in the face.
