It's the polar opposite of dumbing down; it's expecting every player to do three things instead of just endlessly repeating one. |

First off I know this game is nothing like SWG, but that playstyle reminds me of SWG. Any descent pvp'er would have been a 4040 / 4030 Doctor, every pvp'er was a damage dealer / healer, and in any descent group everyone was taking care of everyone else. |

I.e. you won't have a tank, healer and DPS 'cos everyone will be a tank/heal/DPS hybrid. It's the polar opposite of dumbing down; it's expecting every player to do three things instead of just endlessly repeating one. So your stance is that each player with be tank / healer / dps all in one? lmaooooooooooooooo excuse me while I PMSL

Originally posted by Rydeson First of all you or none of us have any information on the TOR combat or party system, so how do you know how the whole grouping class thing is going to work. Secondly there was some healing in KotoR you reading that there is no healing or bandaging in game is just smoke coming out your ass. No reviews that have come out has even touched on that subject and there are still classes and game play focus tba.
You dont want to play the game fine stay your ass in WoW we dont want you in SW: ToR, before you try to bash a game make sure all your facts are in order. Most of the stuff on these forums are just player speculation, and all those game reviews says pretty much what we already know about the game

A pet class would be nice perhaps a beast master for the good guys and droids for those that like things black. Only clas that hasn't been mentioned is a sort of healer (I doubt the Jedi or Sith will heal as they look like there taking the role of melee tank), so perhaps a dude that just chucks bacta around unless there is no healer at all and that would be pretty cool. |

I don't blame some people being skeptical. Look at some of the online games we've been subjected to. But, for me, I'll remain hopeful. I loved SWG and I'm not looking for SWG2. I'm looking for Star Wars. Story, space, combat where a group has to be able to shift tactics on the fly to cover for someone that went down. And Bounty Hunters. |

But simply what I'm looking for in TOR that NO MMORPG HAS EVER provided me with? A sense of adventure. |

For me, most MMOs loose that sense of immersion. I like great stories and I hope that SWTOR presents one. |
