Welcome to MMORPG... if you don't like changes, go play single player rpg game. Almost all mmorpgs out there do changes, tweaks, big patch changes from time to time... if you couldn't take it, that simply means you are not meant for MMORPG.
get it over with.
What you said it's a total BS cause i don't know any mmropg with such changes. |

Then you could not have played many MMORPG's. I can think of several right off the bat. EVE, Lineage 1/2, SWG, just to name a few.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Conan has lost the last bit of fun it had to offer, game-play is now Monotonous, senseless and extremely dull. The official forums are now a waste of time as any posts not giving the game praise is quickly locked or edited and it reminds me of the first few fascist months after release. How they still have the cheek to charge people a monthly fee for this rubbish is beyond me. |

I am thinking hence the extra 3 you played and including just as many quests as other games. If you felt the game not worth your time after one year then fair enough, you still paid to play for one year and spoke with your wallet, one would assume would be worthy of paying. Anyone to the game now starts off from now and with things being added in, in large doses 1 year from now might be longer for mr average player.

Odd than that almost everyone I knew who was playing at release hit the level cap in under 3 weeks, and we didn't play much more than 20 hrs/wk. Most of us had another 2-3 toons around 70 by our 2nd month. Guess it's one more of the many things FunCom claimed before release that turned out to be a massive exaggeration or an out right fabrication. You know that whole list Avery, no need for me to type it out again. |

No need to side step the fact that the fella paid to play for one whole year on this server, and then he moves on. Some people like the power leve, Some like to experience the whole content the game has to offer or some parts that just interests them. I'd like to point out too that there is a reason Fury server transfers are not available at this time. Playing around with figures on YG: Levels: 70-80 People: 6649 Levels: 50-60 People: 1158 Levels: 20-50 People: 7217 levels: 1-20 People: 19580 Levels 1-80 33762 results PvP rankings list: Displaying players updated within 30 days 11250 results The numbers don't lie. Not to mention the top 4 choices of class on this server out of everyone are not Casters.

11250 Character PVP ranking over past 30 days... "Player profiles" Considering the average population for a server and the fact the results came back at 33k tells people there are alts there in the mix...

I dont know how globaly, but i still meet a lot of players and a lot of new players on high lvls, that stoped games a lot of months ago. A lot of them now say ... im like newb, im here after 6 months. It looks good i like it. In our guild on Fury we have 15+ new players in last 3 weeks, where half of them are old players that moved back and second half ew players that payed after trial. A lot of other ppl, my friends, going to go into game after they will pass theyr last month of subscription in currently payed game. I think game looks fresh in last months and i like new system the most. Today its not only about ganking, but PVE going to be better and better. And thios game wants to be better in PVE, because without it, it another GuildWars like fighting game without deep. Only one thing i dont like in 1.0.5 is bad rebalance. I think Necro is the biggest unbalance fail ever in all AoC patches line. But like they said, now is the most important way of development fixing of these unbalances. I hope game have theyr second breath. More boxes of game sold in 3 last months, more discussed, more patched. I hope its going to be better, but FC must have theyr eyes still open now and doing very good in way of what palyer want the most. If they will keep that, community will be happy like in way of development of Turbines Lotro. |

I held on to the hope that the game would get better with time, I was unaware at the time that the opposite would apply? For a year I gave Funcom the benefit of the doubt and a chance to show their worth, from what I have seen I would say they have gone out of their way to destroy their own creation and thats about it.

Maybe someone here is missing the point. The game is the way it is, you like it you play it, if you don't like it then don't play it. The problem is different, there are many players who spent money time and effort to make their chars stronger, then FC comes with a patch that totally change the char system, and you find your char you have been putting effort in, to turn an useless char. I say it again, this is what happened to carnages, lost attack power and lost buffs. They have to stop to fuck up the pvp system at end game cause this is something that really upset peoples who play. Is it just me or in fury right now there is a total desert? Even in kesh there isn't more than one instance and in common distric even if new, there aren't that many players. Don't say it cause we are in summer cause usually in summer peoples play most of the time, expecially the kids. I say it's cause ppl are actually getting sick of this, you make a new patch and more ppl quit rather than joining. Definitily it's your fault, bad managening. Bye. |

I'd make one change, which is really kind of the root of FC's problem from launch: Yes the game is the way it is. But its not the way FC led people to think it is. Granted that was a launch problem, but FC never really made the effort to address that. Its been PR and completing beta testing all the way. |
