I think what has not yet become clear to some here even after explaining it thousands of times is that I do not care about the companies that make games.

Let me state it again

I    DO   NOT   CARE   ABOUT   THE    COMPANIES   THAT   MAKE   THE   GAMES.

I don't like the game. The actual game I do not like. I don't like the code, or the coded game. I do like flying ships. I don't like flying ships in the game that is darkfall. I don't like the code allowing auto loot into the actual game. I don't like the actual game code.

I think a good number of us DO like the game that was talked about on web-sites and existed in the Devs. minds.

It would appear the vast majority of the MMO gaming population DO NOT like what was delivered and is currently available.

Some of us are still hopeful that the current game may yet become the game that was talked about. 

THAT game we may ACTUALLY like.  Trouble is we haven't got to play it yet. 

That is why some of us are thinking that in order for us to get the game that we LIKE... we will need the company behind the current game to leave. This works out great for you as well... since you could care less about the company!

I like the game but I also have far more respect for those that take issue with the game, the ACTUAL GAME.

With the above post I feel like I have actually made some progress

I played Darkfall for a few days. I didn't like the combat, mainly the hit detection, and the whole thing about accidently dealing damage to someone who walks in front of you while fighting. The latter would then cause everyone in the area to attack you for your loot, since you became flagged as a traitor or criminal, whatever they called it. I might have kept playing if there was a way to do quests and PvE reliably without being griefed and camped in the starter zone. You definitely need numbers to accomplish anything, which makes me a sad panda due in part to myself not knowing 5 other people that want to/can buy the game and skill up with me.

To answer your previous question... No, I don't like the current game.

I stick around around though in the hopes that the game I do like becomes a reality.  Well, that and I find supporters of DarkFall fun to have discussion with.
