Just got my weekly "Please come back and help fill the empty servers" email from SOE and they are touting the 6th anniversery "rewards". My favorite is this:

That is not a 6th anniversery reward it's one of the ongoing email collections, you comsume it if you want to to further your progress with the collection. The actual 6th rewards are a Tie fighter or X-wing pilot greeter for your home and the poster for Ep 6.

Damn guys... bitter much?  It's seriously time to move on.  It's been over 4 years since the CU and almost 4 since the NGE

At this point if you're still subbed to Star Wars Galaxies updates and such you're just a troll who has no life.  Only reason I even saw this thread is it was listed as most recently active.  Frankly if you're still hating on this game 4 years later you seriously need something to do with your time.

Sorry tode, we are not seeking any more stalkers at this point in time. We'll put you in our files, and get back to you if a position becomes available. thank you for your interest. And we took note of your willingness to completely discredit yourself in some of the things you say to defend SOE and praise anything they do. The free realms is a WOW killer was nice start. keep up the good work, and hopefully we can find a spot for ya here. Maybe in the mean time you can polish up your humor skills. take care.

Edit: actually,though it pains me to do this. I have to give Smed props on the way they made and marketed free realms. thats the way to do it. Now they can concentrate on making the people playing happy. They did an extremely focused marketing campaign. Only marketed to their target, but in a massive way. Rather than trying to market it to everyone. So now there isnt a million people who played it and hated it. And the people playing can talk and spread the word rather than defending the game. This will work with any game, any type of game, any target audience, or any business model. Good job dammit. If things have changed some at SOE, and they keep this style of marketing and keeping the players of that game happy..they could be on their way back. I cant beleive i said that.
