Hello, I tried playing a little of this game in the past and I'm thinking of giving it another go. Instead of asking for specifics on what instances are like and such I just wanted to get an idea of what most fans find cool about the instances. I assume they must have more than your standard tank n' spank (sorry i hate that term too) fights. So I figured the best way to get an idea about what this game has to offer combat wise would just be to ask for anecdotes about what instances (raid or group) you've found most fun. Thanks |

This game is nothing BUT instances. This phrasing might make sense in WoW or whatever other MMOs the kids are playing nowadays, but asking this kind of question about GW just betrays a lack of understanding of what GW is. It's not a f2p WoW, you'll be running instances from start to finish, they are seldom optional, and even if you hate certain ones you'll need to do them to advance further into the game. If you really want to know what this game has to offer just pick up and play it for a bit. Not everyone loves this kind of system, and the fans can extoll the game's virtue 'till they're blue in the face, but there's still no guarantee that this kind of gameplay will appeal to you. |

He would be thinking of the traditional dungeons in mmo's. So the dungeons from EOTN or FoW and UW. The most interesting fights in pve are in the missions to be honest. The dungeons don't do a whole lot for me although there a few interesting fights (but nothing as elaborate as in other mmo's). |

The missions themselves make up the best instances. You'll also enjoy FoW, and the underworld. I also spent a lot of time in Sorrows Furnace. |
