MMORPG.com Correspondent Pamela Blalock writes this helpful overview of the Adventurer job in SOE's popular new MMORPG, Free Realms.

With 14 jobs currently in the game and many more on the way, there's a lot to do in Free Realms. All jobs have 20 levels (the two kart jobs currently cannot progress) and each one has its charm. In Free Realms you can change jobs freely at any time except while in combat. This allows you to be anything you want or not, it's up to you. The first job I'm going to look at is the Adventuring job.

This is by far the most open ended and, perhaps, difficult job to level. Adventuring is a combination of finding collections and landmarks. Supposedly there will be more ways for you to level this job later on, like questing to learn the lore of Free Realms, but for now you level by finding things.

The new quests released today with the guild option also contribute to the Adventurer Class. As expected, these are all lore based with some fights for leveling your other combat classes. Have only proceeded to the Briarwood part of chapter 1, so not sure just how much there is available right now.

The lore seems to contribute to what we already knew through the local quests. In short, 1 pixie sister princess is now ruler where the other sister was banished after a failed coup. Interesting stuff. It gets better as the land of the pixies rule does not quite extend throughout the land...as the west has ninja issues and the east has some nasty out-of-control plants.

In short, with the multitude of collections, classes, quests, minigames, non-combat classes (chef, blacksmith, etc.), the game has a ton of content to offer. Chess, checkers, tower defense, all play to the thinkers, so its not just for kids.

Great guides, keep em coming.
