Paragus is at it again, this time taking a break from his usual Darkfall-based blog post to give us his impressions of the Aion free trial weekend.

Always interesting to read this posters blog, he seems to always have some decent points to discuss and avoids over hype. As to Aion, it will be popular, but Blizzard has little to worry about I think because it really does differentiate itself much from the mainstream MMO's much. The flight ability is more a gimmick than a boon due to short flight times. The pvp though could be a winner, only time will tell. |

How soon people forget how even 20 levels can fool a player who is looking into logging into a new MMO. I will wait until someone reviews 40 levels+ of the game before buying another MMO in my life! (PS: This is a well written and informative post about Aion though...so no slight on the blogger...just not going to get excited about any more MMO's) |

Also of note: Warhammer is mentioned 12 TIMES in this article. I kept feeling like this word was being used a lot, and counted it.. 12!! There really is NO resemblance between Warhammer and Aion, so I would take some of the comparisons at face value as a preference of the writer. Why Warhammer? Yuck. Ok..now, I am done. |

I did'nt follow the developement of this game, in facts your article is pretty much the only one i read about it. Looking at it and seing the screenshots, this look like WOW 2. I dunno for you, but for me, i'm not interested in playing yet another WOW clone. |
