The guy who made it "Ulferth of Cimmeria"  from  [Dracones Nigri] and is the RP Officer and was RP'ing his character to voice over in the context of Age of Conan, it's landscape, premise and mood. The voice over goes with his story in game.
 

Dracones Nigri are Italian and play on Aquilonia PvP-RP.

Ulferth has many RP premises, stories and interaction on his RP server and on the forums. I could post them up for you to knock him down though.

I'll give the guy credit, he is talented, he made the game look a thousand times more interesting than it really is. I guess that is why it seems like a commercial.

But my reall question is what does posting this video have to do with the "General Discussion" of the Age of Conan, maybe this post belongs in the Guild Hall section of these forums or another place that is more appropriate?

I prefer to watch in-game pvp-vids myself, but gotta give the man cred for his editing, even tho he took the voice-over from somewhere else (who cares, it's youtube,  u don't expect peeps to hire their own actors for voice-overs).

Yeah, it's a prelude to Edge of Twlight being released anyway...

That music and voice is ripped off of Edge of Twilight rpg for the xbox360!  lol  Has nothing to do with AoC and some upcoming new update at all.

So... Avery posts a fan-video. It features a grand, booming voiceover (was thinking: daaaamn - James Earl Jones on ... something :))

Voiceover is not original (user-made, whatever). In fact its a straigt ripoff, but the vid and the editing is definately unique. This thing will do just fine on mahinima.com until someone set up us the bomb i.e: Calls in the kopyrite police.

Read the first two posts Avery made - This IS fan material. (Notice the lack of "tan suit, fat boy Erling E." introduction )

Personally I am glad to see that some fans really enjoy AoC. Taking the time to put a video like this together does (IMO) show a lot of dedication - no matter where the voiceover was "borrowed".

To  me, Avery seems like a dedicated and devoted fan. It is easy to read (and apreciate) his posts in this light. I see Avery pointing out the positives and toning down the negatives surrounding AoC - Objective? Not at all, but do you seriously expect to find that anywhere on the internet?

Me defending Avery? Heh yeah absolutely. Not because I agree with his feelings towards AoC - Heck most of the time I disagree... But in this case: Seems like some of you guys forgot about the ball and went for the man.

Christ!!!!...lol...the guy posts a video he thinks is cool and AoC haters smell the meaty tidbit and ravenously take huge pointless bites out of something that is meant to say nothing...except "Check this out". He likes AoC (me too..heal!!...doggies...HEAL!!!)...so of course he will post an AoC fan video he found entertaining.   So what if it was edited  and the voice over was from another game.....like Youtube isn't already filled with copyright violations and re-edited/pirated materials put to CGI...whether it is captured or original video. Who gives a fuck!!!...you guys probably gobble that shit up on any other day....but because this is a vocal fan of AoC you have to act like ass hats. I hope the other games you play are the same ones I avoid.....because I can't imagine how asinine you'd act ...under the guise of roleplay inside an MMO.

I seem to recall there is a FREE TRIAL that people of their own free will can download and try the game out for themselves to see if they find the game fun and enjoyable then decide if they want to subscribe to the game or not.
