That is the developer's website. It is not an english language website for the game. The only link on that site related to TERA is to the korean language site for the game. There is also no english translation of the game. |

Considering its their only game, and considering how that site has screens about the game and devs talking about it, I thought it would be enough. If you translate the tera site with google translator you'll find out that the information displayed on the game's site is almost the same. |

Until the last year or so MMORPG.com required english versions of the game and website before they would cover it. If TERA get's enough english language related interest they will probably start covering it. I have no connection to this website other than being a member of it but historically MMORPG.com relies on official english releases from the publisher/developer of a game for their coverage. |

Ill download the game as soon as its available seeing as how i have a hangame account anyways, will post how it goes. There promising so many things it gets me hopeful
I love this part Also, unlike games that claim to be a MMORPG by emphasizing action-style gameplay, TERA does not utilize zoning (section loading). All users will seamlessly move throughout the world, sharing a singular combat experience. Moreover, the foundation for the innovative combat system originates from the robust client/server technology. This breakthrough technology is one of the many revolutionary features developed by Bluehole to enhance the end-user experience.
From the start, the company hoped to realize a combat system that would set a new global standard. After careful consideration, it was decided that TERA's fight sequences should closely resemble real fight scenes. Hence, TERA will introduce omni-directional attacks, where distance and direction must be coordinated for weapons and spells to work; moreover, healers must continuously take new battle positions to cast spells. Also, depending on body weight ratio between a mob and player, an enemy hit will register a fall-back reflect. These are some of the innovative features in TERA. |

At this time TERA has no western publisher, so for now its only coming out in Korea. |

Remember when people were saying AION wasn't going to be a dull uninventive grindfest? Oh, yeah, hahahahah.

90% of the footage was about killing mobs, is this actually a official trailer? If yes, i am not impressed.

Since I am Korean and can read and understand the stuff on the website, I can tell you "It looks like another dull grindgame" without having a bad conscience: kill monster, talk to xy, goto xy, get xy from xy, bring xy to xy -> level up -> skills but I am a sandbox-elitist anyway. and just because a game has no crosshair/targeting system, it does not make it less grindy than other games. "kill 20 rats" stays "kill 20 rats", no matter if wow, aoc, eq ... whatever. |

Something that doesn't show that they make grindgame number 123. Btw it wasn't only the mob slashing that turned me off, also the actual combat system looked extremely awkward (slow). Putting action-adventure elements into a MMORPG ain't something new.
