I played CoX for 4 years, and was really excited when this title was announced, but I still have yet to be excited about any screenshots I have seen of the game. Don't get me wrong, I will still most likely purchase the game (I love my tights), but the excitement just isn't there yet.

As far as I knew there is a menu option to disable the cell shading, it's not completely removed (although, it is now optional). Unless I missed an annoucement. "There is as yet insufficient data for a meaningful answer."

Definite. There is NO miracle patch. 95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch. Hope is not a stategy.

Although, it seems to get automatically activated when you get it up to "High Quality" graphics on the preset choices.
