Not sure about that post title, to be honest. If the past 5 years of MMO releases are anything to go by, we might all still be playing WoW in 2032. |

"The prosecution said Daniel Petric then tried to make the shootings look like a murder and attempted suicide. He shoved the gun into his father's hand and said, "Hey Dad, here's your gun. Take it," Mark Petric testified" Clearly a premeditated murder. Imagine a 17 year old that is so foul as to try to implicate his own dad with the murder of his mom. He should be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. All this for a game of Halo 3... LOL.. stupid idiot. 23 years... he'll go in the slammer as a kid and comes out as a hardened criminal. As for the tears.. he's probably realized that he have destroyed his own future ... as well as the future of his own family..either that or he realized there are no XBOX360 in prison to play HALO3. |

If you're going to stick it out there, don't be afraid if you get it cut off. |

Where did it say anything about WoW OP? Anyways, Halo 3 is a good game, but damn! That kid is seriously jacked up. His parents may have deserved to be shot if they allowed their son to get that nuts! By 17 you should have a good enough relationship with your kid that they won't plug you in the head for taking away a video game. Perhaps he was a neglected psychopath? |

Just give the kid Halo 3 back, making him play it is punishment enough. ____________________________ "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but I know World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein |

yes, yes it is. troubled people aren't terribly hard to spot and it's not like it's a secret that people, especially parents, don't pay enough attention. |

Too true my friends, too true. I asked myself, "Would this even be talked about in the light of an addiction if it were something else?" Would people be talking about addictions if he were 'obsessed' with fixing up old cars and they took his keys and tools? What about if he was 'addicted' with playing Super Mario 3? What about if he spent most of his time dancing and they took away his beats? What if he was 'addicted' to taking pictures and they took away his camera? Of course no one would bother talking about addictions or obsessions, because it's ridiculous. I spend a lot of time reading, but if people took away my books and forums and news articles and everything.....eh, well scratch that because if someone had the ability to take away -all- of that i'd probably have to kill them. You get the idea though. |

How does WoW relate to this article? In regards to the violence in games, some developers are just looking for trouble. Some E3 trailers were just dispicable. I'm not in any way in favor of banning games because there's violence in them, but some companies (Valve) need to get a clue before they release trailers. |
