Money in politics is the root of all political evil. It is corruption at it's worst. |

WAR = PvP, and lots of it (albeit pointless PvP). Also the classes are quite interesting. Like Bright Wizard and their mechanic, tanks that can DPS well, cool classes like White Lion that can leap great distances. Melee healers that are actually good. AoC = Pretty gfx and boobs. |

Warhammer. While neither are great atm Age of Conan is just terrible, Warhammer Online has been getting better from what I understand and it may be up your alley. |

Neither, they are both huge disappointments. Played both and extremely annoyed by the hype and lies surrounding both games. Femmes Fatales - The Power of the Feminine in the Art of MMOs. Played: |

It depends on what you prefer... War is casual PvP all the time, the PvE sucks while AoC have pretty good PvE but the PvP servers tends to get a gankfeast. You can of course play AoC on a PvE server and still siege, borderkingdom and do minigames. AoC do have better graphic but you probably knew that already, also AoC do have more blood and guts. If you plan to do 95% PvP I say you should go for WAR, if you like PvE you should go for AoC. Or you could play both, WAR is casual enough to be a secondary game. Anyways, do a trial of whatever sounds best because youll never be sure if the game works for you until you tried and no need to waste money before you know what you like. Me and a friend do a few trials before we decide next game we are playing, and try to note what we like and don't like. |

That is a load of bull, now the client wont crash once every hour like it did at launch and the FPS is a lot better. WAR do still have some issues for that matter, some friends who play it have memory leaks (not all, just 2 of them but it is not all fixed). AoC is a lot more stable, so is WAR of course but I) would say AoC actually fixed more issues. WAR do however patch in more content, but of course most of it is still stuff they took out a month before release (where is my friggin 4 citys that was almost ready but not quite polished enough, MJ?). Which game that is best is of course a matter of discussion, and I am still upset on Mythic for making my favorite dark horror RPG into a game for teens, the original lore is more grisly than the conan lore by far. |

This a load of BS. The game stopping bugs have all been fixed. AoC runs fine now. WAR is too much of a grind fest for my taste.
To the OP, you can download a free trial for both and try them out. |

If your a casual player - Warhammer Online, without a doubt, is a much better game
However, if you plan on playing 5 hours a day, go with Age of Conan, as Warhammer's endgame is nothing exciting. That is if you can stand heavily instanced, barren worlds. |
