Ive played WoW since TBC...enjoy it alot. WotLK comes out. Naxx, OS, VoA. oooooh ULDUAR. woopdee doo.

PVP in WoW is just lame. i love the game, its interesting and i love to raid (PvE) alot too. but... i heard about AION...could it really take over WoW? ive done some research and it looks better than WoW already.

what is your view... AION vs. WoW?

Not much of a post for a first post. And not much of a poster when you don't bother checking the forums for the 100s exact same pointless threads.

To be fair, it's a tad better than the "Aion the WoW killer" thread.

I really do not think there will ever be a game like WoW in just pure subs. Even if Blizzard makes a WoW 2. Now Aion looks to be a good game. It might be a filler for ppl waiting on FFXIV or another Blizzard MMO to come out. So will Aion ever get 11 mil. subs ?? Not going to think so, but it should get a few just because ppl like change =))

I am going to agree with this poster.....WoW is like coke-cola classic and AIon is like Coke-cola most people like the original recipe and are unwilling to give it up for something new

I also agree and think it's silly to compare Aion to WoW.. they are too different. As someone said before if anything it would probably appeal to the people waiting for FFXIV and GW2 and such... Such as myself :)

Im not trying to compare one to the other. but i think there needs to be a game that will make Blizz bow down and let the new game rule all.

WoW is so f**kin addicting but it gets old...quick. the pvp is horendous, and very repetitive.

Aion will never hit WoW numbers, back in the day when wow launched there was not much competition. Today there are so many options to chose from that hitting wow sub numbers would be near impossible.

yet, even with the amount of subs in wow. im sure quite a few will switch to the new and improved AION.

im not saying its the downfall of WoW, but i just want a new change.

Strictly ignoring the spam troll posts and addressing the OP. AION is better than WoW if you compare them both on a 1.0 level, if you compare Aion 1.0 to WoW 3.1, you'll be disappointed content wise (Not gameplay wise). It's my personal opinion that Aion is MUCH more fun and the PvP system is MUCH better than WoW's. It might not be the huge mainstream game that WoW is, but that doesn't stop it from being better.

Aion dose have over 3mil subs and its not even out in the west.

To be honest I dont want Aion to get the subs that WoW has when you have that many people the community goes down horrible, I have been playing WoW sense Beta and I have seen its fall from the best community of any games I have ever played to what it is now by far the worst.

As to the point of this thread as many people have already said the search is there for a reason make use of it. =)

Ditto and ditto.  About as many of these as the "reviews" of Aion.  When you don't have the courtesy to use search, put your ego aside, and post all on ONE THREAD, I don't have the courtesy not to troll.

My opinion is that AION blows WoW away for an MMO..to me an MMO should have the PVP element as a forethought like AION has delivered on not an after thought like WoW.

I have been testing AION for over a month now in the Chinese version, I also played WoW at release. For me and the people I have played with for years and MMO with extremly limited PVP or none at all is just player vs AI and I can get that from any non MMO game and countless other "MMO's"
