Amazingly, I find WW2O to be good for my PvP fix. No real grind, just hop in and shoot people. It's nothing like as good as "good" EVE pvp, but I find it much more diverting than the bad joke that is MPvP in LotRO.

Finding targets in WW2O is almost as hard as in EVE.  I wish WW2O would have been made by a better company, it would have been one of the best MMOs ever.  Such a great concept destroyed by a shitty company. :|

NOTE: I'm not saying the difficulty of finding targets in EVE is bad (makes it more of a rush when you finally scan down your target and rush in with guns blazing) but I found WW2O to just not suit that style of gameplay.  Plus certain things like lag rushing in bunkers was just stupid and I never knew if I killed someone for a few seconds because of lag.

Well, you never know, I might.  But, since CCP allows Online Time Code selling its not really an issue. Those things go for HUGE amounts of ISK in-game (another thing that ruined the game and its economy). Its very easy to replentish your ISK with a little real-world $$.

If you're really serious I could use some of that ISK.   My in game name is Teala Te'Jir.  I have a couple of sweet mining barges I would surely like to get my hands on and that kind of ISK would allow me to do it.    Thanks in advance!   Remember, that is Teala Te'Jir in game.   By the way I solo - I play for fun just to see if I can create a character that can survive the game.   So I am no elitest.

Sort of a tough one. I mean, MO and Earthrise might be good ones when they releaes, but after DF, I'd be a bit skeptical of jumping into anything until its had a chance to sink or swim. Only other one I've had any friends really comment on the PvP about is Pirates of the Burning Sea. Hell, your already ahead of the curve....they have ships :P

Well I think Darkfall is far from gone at the moment. People are quick to dismiss, but truth be told EvE didn't have a much better start, and look at it now.

I don't think I ever said DF was gone, just not successful in my opinion. Just that, at this point in my gaming experience, I am past throwing money at "potential" any more. Just a personal choice really and given the fact the OP wished for options besides DF, MO and Earthrise seem like logical "games to watch."

Yeah, I'll watching those also, except for DF, which I've already played.

I re-subbed to DAoC just for something to play and I'd forgotten how much fun that game is! Then I heard a rumor that Mythic is consolidating all their servers into one and I'm thinking I might go back -- hopefully it will be without ToA. They only have about 5,000 players online across all servers now, but if all those folks are on one, well that will bring back the great PvP and RvR that game has to offer. I'm crossing my fingers.  Maybe they will update the graphics also, although they still look pretty good, even against current games.

I play on my 2nd char cause 1st is freezed (due to buying 30 plex for real money) and enjoing the game but havent enogh money (Though my 2nd character is young,but...) . If you can give me some isks,i would be very pleasent.

Hi! You should at least keep some minimum iskies on your account, you can leave EVE, but EVE never leaves you.
(though I am only playing for a week or three but I heard that phrase a lot! :-))

Anyways, hereby I apply for the free-ISK program so I can fund my own crusade, and replace the ships and modules I lost due to noob-mistakes (and the random blob/gatecamp I accidently flew into).

Sounds like there is a lot of negativity surrounding Darkfall at the moment. I am a DF player and I just gotta say that I feel like that when I get ganked losing hours worth of resource farming loot but when I take it from another person's grave, I feel excited again. I agree that Darkfall has lots of problems with the devs and the current state of the game but I just hope that aventurine will redeem themselves and fix those problems as soon as possible. Nevertheless, I will stick to Darkfall because of its unique features not seen in other MMOs.

I don't think it is so much negativity as the OP specifically stating he wanted suggestions besides DF as he had already played it and made a decision about it. That said, any other comments have been clearly qualified as opinion and there is no shortage of that in the appropriate forum on this site ;)
