My PC is far superior to both consoles, so that is where I will be playing it. I wil leave all you guys to argue over the consoles lol.

Grow up. Money is too tight not to spread to mutiple platforms.

Truthfully its a great plan. Spread the love to multiple consoles now that everyone owns one or the other or both.

You double your income from multiple platforms.

And when it comes down to specs. All consoles are just dumbed down PC's.

Microsoft has already stated that its been contiplating releasing the 360 emulator for the PC. You can already use the 360 controller for your pc. So really all things will come back to the pc.

I don't understand why people try to complain about the capabilities of the Xbox360 to the PS3.  I understand you automatically think the PS3 is significantly better than the Xbox360 simply because of the price tag, but if the PS3 can handle it, I tend to think the Xbox360 could as well.  No games at this point in time fully utalize every aspect of each system, which is why as newer games come out, they keep becoming more and more groundbreaking with their abilities to render forms and utilize graphics/physics engines.  Comparing the PS3 to the Xbox360 is just dumb, and by bringing Xbox360 into the fold, FFXIV will just increase its Subscription count, something any company will look to do.  Having more people in an MMORPG is always a good thing, and although most will be new to the MMO genre (I'm sure someone already ranted about the amounts of "noobs" in the game if it's brought to 360), but once they learn, it will only make the game better.  We were all "noobs" at one point.  And yes, I hate using the word noob, it's almost as retarded as someone who feels that their PS3 is superior to all consoles, although each console gives a gamer something different, and attractive of itself.

I guess none of you geniuses saw the announcement in E3 that FFXIV was going to be EXCLUSIVE to the PS3, as far as consoles are concerned.  When a Sony rep says that, it isn't for no reason.  That makes this thread moot.  Learn to pay attention more.

At the actual Q&A with the Devs of FFXIV, they stated they were exploring all options "including Xbox hardware."  Also, a spokesperson for Xbox (take it for what it's worth, I know), said they were led to believe that FFXIV was not an exclusive title.  But, from what the Devs said, if it's possible, it will eventually come to the 360.

Seeing as how this is going to devolve into a flame war, I'm going to go ahead and pre-empt it and lock this thread.
