We're grateful that someone out there is trying to meet our needs, and we're willing to sacrifice a little in order to make that happen. If the game didn't have any potential, we wouldn't feel that way. In a way, I think it's working to build a stronger community for the game even before the release, which will only serve to strengthen the game.
Well said, exactly how i feel. Even tho i do like theme park MMOs AION is a good game, so is WoW even tho im bored with it, i am now looking for more sand box style gameplay, I play EVE but that is sci-fi and what I really want to play is fantasy.

Excuse me? Do you know the resources it takes to build an MMO? This is no problem for some big corp like SOE, but SV has to build its way up, and it has a chance now to gain some money for new servers, which btw is made out of UT3.5's MMO version, best MMO servers on markets that will support the best graphics and gameplay. To give us a shot at beta w/ the pre-order means more people wil buy the game now, meaning $$ for more servers which will in effect support the community MO has at launch. May I direct you to Darkfall if you want a launch-failed game that was never tested properly and now leaks of bugs such as, no skill cap? Are you even talking about a game? Are you talking about real life where you volunteer hours? How does one do that besides beta? I only play sandboxes. Don't bother me with third person view. |

I would preorder except I am going away on the 30th, and since it goes on sale june 29th that would kind of be stupid for me to do. I will definitely buy the game if it does get released and no problems are that bad with it. |

my plan is to try to preorder if only to find out how well it works from N.A. moving at the end of the month though and still not sure what kind of connection i'm gonna end up with so it may be a no after all (out to the boonies, more or less)

Hard to say if I will pre-order or not but I will probably play the game when it is released. I like many of the basic ideas and want to see how it all turns out. My only real concern is that it could go either way with a sand-box pvp environment and how it is implemented and controlled will make a big difference in how well things turn out. Too much freedom and it's a griefer's paradise and not enough then it really won't be too different from a theme park with no rides. But, at least they have given their game some thought and are trying to bring some new ideas to the market and for that they deserve a chance. |

No. I play MMORPG's, however I don't invest in them. They're a bad bet and more fail than succeed. If the game releases, I might buy it after I get a chance to see how things go. Sure, i know, they're underfunded and can't complete it. Not my problem.

It's unfortunate that such an ambitious project was attempted by people like Aventurine, because it really puts a stain on this format of MMO. Hence the people wanting to support this project. I wish that Star Vault could find a cheap way to promote their project; I say interviews work pretty well, and it seems like it would be a good fit for this website. |

I'm probably gonna do it But I don't know what comes in the LE Box When I find out, I'll decide which box to get |

I gotta say yes I will be preordering the game depending on if I have the extra money ill go with LE if not ill get the Box version, but anyway for the people that come in here just to voice that they think pre-ordering to help Star Vault with their financial problems is stupid, than so is letting a friend borrow money from you or investing in a stock. Its something you can't see the future with and theres a chance it will fail and a chance it will succeed. To me the fact that Star Vault has actually approached their followers and asked for help is a huge difference in any MMO I have followed, like ppl have been comparing dark fall and this game. I have played Dark Fall in CB right before launch and I thought it was Horrific and not just that when I voiced my opinions about some of the things I saw wrong with the game I was shot down not just by the community but also the Devs which is obsured. ![]() Damnant quod non intellegunt

Im pretty curious to see how the pre-order situation will go. We know this game so far does not have the "following" Darkfall did at launch. Will the preorders sell out immediately ? Will their server be able to handle that type of load? Maybe the preorders wont even sell out in the first day. It will be interesting to see what kind of userbase MO has. Also, the word is that the NDA will be lifted for the preorders. Not sure if it will be on the 29th or the 6th. |

I will be preordering a LE edition so long as the price is reasonable. Otherwise, I will purchase a digital copy. The game could go well or it could go badly. I honestly do not believe that the game will be finished upon release. With that being said, I will be investing in the vision and the honest development team. |
