Preview event only let people get to 20 iirc so wondering what the situation with PvE is post 20. I know there is a good amount of focus on PvP in Aion, and I love some good PvP thing is I can't tolerate PvP while trying to PvE AT ALL, be it level 1 or the level cap. Really concerned about this specific aspect because I like PvE raiding a lot and don't want to get PK'd in the process, and so far I like a lot of aspects of this game. So I'm wondering if anyone has first hand experience with raiding and if there are PvE raids at the level cap that have no chance of getting PvP involved.
PS. I don't think it was just simple decision that they made leveling stop at 20 for the preview event. Western markets tend to be less open-PvP inclined so I wouldn't be surprised if thats why they limited that thus making it impossible for people to go to the abyss. Makes me wonder if they are preparing any more PvE specific content to appease these markets more.

My experience is mostly from vids, but I do know there are repeatable quest in the game. (On the field not the limited run around task in town). Instances so far I've seen start at 27-34, Fire Temple, then another right after (Sky Temple?) forgot how far it goes. I've read there are raid instances but so far I've only SEEN raids done like lineage 2, world boss competition. This excites the EQ players because its their little DPS race to see who gets claim when the boss dies. I haven't see the loot from the world bosses but with the extendable weaposn comming from the instances I'm content with both methods.
As far as the Abyss you still have your own area but the "AT ALL" will fail in this case too. In your homeland a rift will open from the abyss, the other faction can enter enemy territory basicly I've read its every 2 hours and if they can't get a rez after the rift closes they have to wait 2 more hours to bother you. |

Interesting you say that about EQ1 because I played EQ1 between kunark-LdoN and I have never seen anything like that heh. Game engine had hard enough time handling 72 people in one area on the screen, just wouldn't function with 144. I say engine because you coudl have a beast of a PC and lowest settings and would still hitch horribly. Sure people who have played WoW and gone to crowded areas have experienced this, even if they have beast of a machine. Last thing I would call any group instance or raid that can be interferred by an opposing faction is 'PvE'. Bascially for the same reason why when people PvP and some random NPC gets involved they don't call it PvE. If players are killing other players its ALL about that regardless of what people were doign before that. SO I would hope people would use this same simple logic when explaining these things. Still wouldnt be surprised if they are preparing more PvE friendly stuff for western market release. Would certainly explain the release date it currently has considering how much is already translated.
