Anyone have any info on how to speed up this download? It's running at about 100 KBs/Second and would love to see it get up to 700ish. Please let me know!

Most ppl got that speed too when dling AION.. Is any european player able to download the EU version yet?

 You could always ask the thousands of other ppl d/l to stop until you are done,other than that nothings springs to mind :)

yeah, try not to download it alongside the other 10k ppl from here alone, the other 50k-100k+ people of other various websites, a lot of people want that file. part of this test is their download capacity, hence the 'limited time' - they want you all to be hammering it right now.

sadly its just not going to be very fast for a good few hours/days/if at all

You don't think that we're the only ones getting Beta keys, do you?  The Korean closed beta had over 170k players in the first week.

not to mention a good fraction of the people downloading right now probably dont even have a key, but are grabing the file on the hope they do get one

Keys are going out at E3 also.

im d/l ing at 60-80kbs/sec and have been for about 15 hours now. Im at 4500/5300mb(84%)

I'm currently downloading at home and here at work, and I can't be the only one with multiple downloads.  But this is to be expected.  For those of us old enough to remember, when the Quake demo was first released after years of wait, there was so much traffic the entire internet lagged because of it.

It would have been nice if they had released some torrents, though.

Jumped up to 500 kbs/sec after doing the fix for changing the server to the IP and restarting the client 4-5 times.

Also I got my beta key from gamestop, so if you're all wondering how people are getting them, call your local gamestop and see if they have the preorder boxes.

Use this link, and do the fix in here, I'm not 100% that is what fixed it but it seemed to help.

Hmm weird that so many have this issue...

I started the launcher and after 5 min it was already up att 950ish kb/s.

Just downloaded the game within 4 hours here.

Been going for 250kb's steady.. just left it doing it's job :D

I'm european... but the Downloader always tells me the same:

"not able to download... try again in a few minutes."

but nothing changes....
