OK, today I decided to sub to Vanguard, and I loaded up the patcher...Knowing that I had to log in with a valid subscription to patch all the current files, I decided to try and see if they gave out a free month. I entered my username and password, and then it was VALID...I'm patching the game right now. But usually before you can patch the files you need to have a current subscription and it will say that you're not subscribed to the game...But anyway I guess it seems they are giving out another "free month" will update later I guess.

My account is still inactive, lame.

Hopefully they dont bump me out of the promotion.

are you kidding me. i just subbed an hour ago and there was nothing...so i payed for nothing  >.>

No big deal, if they don't want to "winback" another player, all the power to them lol ;)

MUAHAHAHA, yes they activated my account and will end at 7/1/09 so I guess the veteran promotion is in effect...YES...a free month hehe...I was about to subscribed to it today too...perfect timing.

Have you checked your account?

Go to station.com and then click on my account. Enter your username/password and then go to subscriptions to see if its been activated or not.

I'm not really sure, but when they do something like this, they would usually announce it. I was quite surprised because I did'nt hear about any promotion from them. You can try checking out their website VGPlayers.com

I did a little research on the VGplayers fforums and...They only send out promotional offers if you've selected the games you would want news from. So I guess its not a "public" announcement....

I just checked mine and mines good as well till 7-1-09.Ive been inactive for 6 or more months.I would like to come back to VG but the PvP server i heard is dead.I know the game is geared for PvE but i like the extra danger of the PvP.Unless someone that playes on the PvP server can confirm otherwise i wont bother.

I have heard nothing of a free month.  Don't see anything on the website either.

I just looked at my station account, yes, free month. Guess ill take a look at whats new.

Yup just checked my other Vangaurd Acc active too ! 

Only downside is I just paid for game time on my other acc ..... Doh !

Just checked my account and it's free for a month. Maybe it's a sign O.O
