"Love the game/Hate the company" seems in fact to be the only way to be able to bare the ongoing failure all around AoC. btw: I'm missing their propaganda-tool on this forum to step in and twist and turn things about this event. Again digging out links to proof that the event was in fact a major success, you are all wrong, know nothing about the game and only a minority on certain servers got hit by a couple of lesser technical difficulties. |

I have to be honest this is just as bad as the release, There was a post in the EU forums from 1 of the mods saying the event would start 1 hour, then they posted to say there wasnt event and it was just to give everyone a meeting place to let of there 8 hour C/D fireworks... Sorry but if you follow the comments and timeline in this post it would seem they didnt have a clue as to what was going on so decided to pass the blame onto the players.. http://forums-eu.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=121967 I recently quit AoC but feel for the guys I left behind, yet another slap in the face, even if they had said there were some problems but would get something sorted later,or indeed if they had posted the right info of the <cough>event and that it was going to be all player made right at the start of that thread would have been something. why have a player made event that all players could join in with in an area that is lvl 40+(ish),for the lower lvl guys to get to the said <cough> event led to higher lvl's clearing the way over and over again,If king Conan wasnt going to make an apperance then why not just do it beside say the temple of Mitra? Yet another mess and tbh I still dont think they are being honest, just diverting the blame. |

Not being a active player at the moment my whole take on this thing might be irellevant, but to me it just looks like a case of last minute planning. Someine last week noticed that this week was the 1 year anniversary and they tried unsucessfuly to put something together in a day or two. For whatever it is worth perhaps next year they will probably plan ahead a bit more assuming the game survives. |

It's all a conspiracy. You have the right to hate the game. I don't care about that, but please stop with the conspiracy theories. And for all you haters out there. Watch out for the play off cat... |

"We apologize if some expected more and are now disappointed." Well, at least they're honest. Hell, every MMOG should be saying this.

AoC was a disaster. I played probably eight alts up past 20 before I couldn't take it anymore. I don't care what they've fixed at this point. It was beyond blowing the launch: the game was not finished, and the developers seemed to have no idea what they had done. The graphics were not bad, but terribly unoptimized. The game world was really restrictive where both visually and mentally you were like a slot-car being forced to take one specific path from place to place, with hedges and embankments forcing you to stay in your maze. Really there's just too many points to hit on. I really wanted to like it, I really tried, and I really couldn't tolerate it.

If anything is assumed to be other than bullshit, theres something wrong with the perspective. |
