 Good news people now every hater (90% but whos counting) has bought and or played a friends Darkfall account!

 

Obviously not everyone likes it*

 

* = being the understatement of the century

Crapload do tho.

That being said what are YOUR suggestions on the future patches/expansions  that DF should do.

 

 

No Mortal Online VS Darkfall Online bs allowed.

 

Just what IN YOUR OPINION should be changed or added (resonably considering the indy dev team) to Darkfall?

i think the last feature add by the devs should be enough to have df fan entertained for some time.
Flying ships..... so you could engage in great and exciting airborne combat in you pursuit of ruling the sky

Haven't played it so far myself but I can explain what puts me off as a fence sitter. From what I've seen the main reasons for me not to play yet are the character artwork, animations and sounds. They do very little to draw me in. Compared to some other games I haven't played yet, that is.

I am not looking for cutting edge graphics and special effects, I am talking about basic proportions, animations and artwork which don't look as good as I wished they had been.

Also the limited availability, the exploiting I read about and the one server limit so far are downers in a way.

I would love to try DF but I will only jump in when the game is fully released and more pollished than it is now.

As a player I can assure you character artwork, animations and sounds are not really important at this time for the community (especially while playing). While I agree the community would agree with your suggestions that would be in about 3 months after 4 major issues are solved: grind, PVP hotspots, sieging system and PVE.

But don't they have to rework the whole skill system and gathering to tone down on the grindyness? Sounds like a hell of a job.

The places where you should pvp at would be clan hamlets and cities, but unless someone declares siege its gonna be all naked people defending it. The siege is rare since most clans do not risk something as valuable as a city everyday.

 

We need rare important resources to fight over that makes it worth it to gear up and take over a dungeon or resource point for a certain period of time, that does not involve risking property.
