Seriously tho Someone said there was a way to remove this... Does ANYONE know how??? Sweet jesus man...you got your answer like four or five times over now. What more do you want? Try being clearer in your op next time and maybe people won't jump to conclusions next time but regardless people answered you. 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. But you can disable that too. In the upper right hand corner, first click on the single down arrow and click options, under the advanced tab unclick the "in compact mode, always open the news window after logging in", click "okay", click on the double down arrows in the upper right corner. Oh, one thing to mention is that after you make those changes, they won't actually work 100% until the next time you load up the launcher. You can either live with 1 popup announcement and play, or you can exit the launcher and relaunch to not see the announcement. Also, to get around the two splash screens, like mentioned before: As soon as the Turbine symbol comes on the screen, press ESC two times and you go straight to the loading screen. |

..getting grief from someone whose question was answered over and over....yet the community of the forum and Turbine itself are criticized. If it wasn't the right question we answered then ..all I can say is someone with 1296(and growing) posts on this forum site should know how to phrase the correct question for the desired answer. Unless most of the posts are just criticisms of everyone's response. I think the previous poster might have actually deduced the exact question you were trying to ask.... |
