I have to say I am loving Aions animations!  When my mage stands still he kinda walks back and forth and flipping through his book.

I stopped moving in a little pond with fish, and my character started moving back and forth again, and fished around in the water with this hands and picked up a fish.

The environment in this game is just stunning.  Cannot wait for US release!  This is a game I wouldnt mind paying for.

I like how they put out a a massive leaf when is rains.
What I don't like are the some the emotes... not the anything wrong with the animations on them, they just look stupid.
But, hey, that isn't going to stop from playing the game... I just won't use them.

 Oh, and how you cast with a book, not a staff!  You flip through pages and cast your spell!

It seems Aion is stepping outside what everyone else does.

Nevermind. . .too early to think.  Missread your post as not knowing how to cast with a book. 

Hot animations indeed. Can't keep my eyes off my char, and he's male... Hmmz O.o

Finally a game where males can look hot and awesome xD I can play a male char again, woohoo!!

Seriously though, the animations and the looks are great, I agree, and the environment is full of life.

I agree, I think the animations are great.

I really like how the robes flow when casting spells, for me it looks like they actually are pulling power from themselves, or the area around them.

I was playing on the China server and I was on my way to the Shipyard to work on some quests, while waiting for the boat I interacted with some Chinese guy using emotes only, it was fun. On the way back on the flying boat he added me to his buddy list. It was a fun experience using emotes. :P

I especially like the /laugh emote, made my character run around in circles, laughing maniacly like my character belonged in a mental hospital. Also I like the /sleep command where you build a cloud and sleep on it until you move. Also the /chair command, where you make a stool out of thin air and sit on it. and... and and... so many more :)
