yeah, almost everyone is looking forward to this game and I expect it to deliver. Most likely it will be game of the year when it launches and that isn't a stretch at all. I'm not a super fan, but based on the reactions I see here and ever where else, I see it happening. It may not offer everything an MMO gamer wants, but then again what MMO does? The question is, what are they doing differently and is it fun? From the way BioWare talks, it sounds like they can't keep their hands off it themselves. |

I would be stunned if this one doesn't deliver. Looks to be shaping up nicely.....but release.....who knows. Seems so far away. |

It definately has my attention. I am not getting my hopes up too much on it though.
For one, a bit jade with most stuff released lately.
Second, from everything I have read, seen, heard about this game it seems to be a cross between a Single Player and MMO game. While this has me interested it may mean the game is more intances and common areas than open world. While I am truly not against this, it has not proven to keep my interest for long with other games. Such as GW or DDO. CoX did more instancing and I found tis to be a good implementation of a lot of instanced content but, it is a slippery slope if not implemented well.
With that said. Most of what is coming out lately is so watered down it becomes boring after a few hours of play. One thing SWOTOR has going for it is lore and storyline. They have always had a really good story to their KoTOR games in the past. Which I am eagerly looking forward too in this new setting.
Say hello, To the things you've left behind. They are more a part of your life now that you can't touch them. |

I'm very interested in this game, but it's still early so I'm remaining a bit cautious. I need to hear more about the UI and playability. Fortunately they've mentioned they're working on a demo at E3 in the Gamespot interview. That could answer some of those questions. It does sounds like an interesting angle they're taking with the story-driven game and different stories for each class. I'm looking forward to seeing how they pull it off.

Although it could happpen, I just can't see this game failing. I mean it is Bioware not so some joe blow mmo company who wakes up one day and thinks they can makes mmos. There will be no doubt the game will have its issues but for the most part it is going to epically pwn the majority of other mmos out there today. |

I'd like to take this opportunity to agree with you. If it works, if it's fun, and if the business model doesn't set people up for the shaft, I'm in. Bioware makes good stuff, sandbox or not. |

What,,,, Did hell just freeze over? Or did monkeys just fly out of my butt? I think I saw a pig fly past my window! We actually agree on something?Oh god say it ain't so!!!!! ArcAngel3 one thing that I do acknowledge and respect (did I just say that?) is both your passion for mmos and your knowledge. We may disagree (understatement?) but I bet we would enjoy playing this one together. This will be a game for those passionate about mmos. |

This game is by far the best hope we have left for a decent MMO. I have not seen anything else recently that could catch my attention. Perhaps this game will be able to pull me in as much as UO did back in the day. |

Nothing in Bioware's history would suggest they would do this. Bioware is not a fastfood company. Their games appeal to the masses because they are great games. Here are just a few to remind you: Mass Effect Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic MDK2 Neverwinter Nights Jade Empire Baldur's Gate |
