I like the orcs and was wondering if there was a good orc duo for me and the wife. I like to melee and she likes to buff/heal and do ranged damage, if possible. We actually both like the orcs.....but are there any orc classes that work well together and are needed later on? |

If you both want to be orc classes, your in luck. Good combo would be destroyer(heavy armor, slow but stronger) or tyrant (weaker but overall alot faster) and a warcryer (buffer, Dot, Hot, Drain Hp). At later levels warcryer can buff vampiric rage, which gives melee dps hp everytime they attack. |

Tyrant: Best DD of the Orc Class imo. I have played Destoyer and Tyrant and I found Tyrant does more dps. Also Destoyers are gimped in PVP because they lack speed and ranged attackes. Tyrant has speed buff and ranged attacks. Warcyer: Best Buffer in the game hands down. They are the #1 most wanted class in parties and clans. Warcryers have every needed buff in game now that they got wind walk from the last update. Overlords are good but there buffs are not as good as Warcryers. With no Vampiric Rage, Greater Might or Greater Shield or Haste you wont be able to duo good with a Overlord. Warcryers are better buffer and Overlords are better PVE / PVPers. I am starting an Overlord alt toon though just to help out the clan. AMD FX-4100 Zambezi (OC at 4.3GHZ ATM) |

If you all say Warcryer is the best buffer....then why is Overlord the most desireable buffer by guilds? Doesn't seem to make sense. |

A warcryer buff all 9 members in his party when he buffs, but a overlord buff all the members in his clan when he buffs. |

Overlord is not the most desireable buffer simply because he does not have the needed buffs to make a successful group. Who told you that Overlords were the most desireable buffer by guilds? I would jump over 5 Overlords for one Warcryer. AMD FX-4100 Zambezi (OC at 4.3GHZ ATM) |

The last update changed it to now Overlords buff party also but like I said. His buffs are just not as good as Warcryer. AMD FX-4100 Zambezi (OC at 4.3GHZ ATM) |

OK, I got it on the warcryer piece....but the Tyrant is a better choice for PvP than a Destroyer, right? All due to DPS and mobility and a few ranged options, correct? How does a Tyrant stand up agains the other races melee DPS? |

I think Tyrant and Gladiators are the 2 best melee DDs. Both have alot of HP and do fast damage. I have played both and I found that the Tyrant was the most fun to play. AMD FX-4100 Zambezi (OC at 4.3GHZ ATM) |

I agree, Tyrant and Glady are the best PvP clasess, at least in this chronicle... about WC, has CoV and CoM and Gather Chant (very usefull), so I thing Tyrant and Warcrayer would be the best choice. |

I would "sort of" say that is true. Destroyers can be monsters depending on the set up and if you play them well. But sure, Tyrants and high level gladiators seem to be the best melee dps. Gladiators having more combat points (a sort of pvp hit point bar) than destroyers but destroyers having more hit points. But I digress....

Definitely pick WC over OL... WC is the best melee buffer in the game; OL's buffs are more nuker-oriented. Tyrant versus Destro = Pick whichever you like the style best. Tyrant uses fists + light armor; Destro uses two-handed swords + heavy armor. Tyrant is probably better steady DPS but Destro gets frenzy and can use poles. For PVP I have no idea but Destroyers are better in PVE than Tyrants for sure.
