If "scenarios" are the new so-called "innovative" thing that every MMORPG is going to have from now on, then I might as well just get ready to stop playing them.. They suck and ruin the immersion as well as the community in game. So much for open world PvP.. “There are dread secrets that none may know and have peace. More, secrets that render whosoever knoweth them an alien unto the tribe he belongs to, that cause him to walk alone on earth, for he who takes, pays.” -E. Hoffmann Price |

I have to agree... scenarios, when I first dived into a few of them in games such as Age of Conan and Warhammer, I saw them as decent practice for character handling and nothing else. They weren't very fun, and well, quickly became monotonous. A typical scenario reminds me of an FPS "map" like those found in Call of Duty multiplayer... personally, I'd rather stick with a CoD map anyday. :)

Szark, FLS, Dev's do ya ever wonder if they pay any attention to the folks who buy there game pay a monthly fee help pay there salary's. NAW they have more important things to do. Folks are not real happy with all the instances going on in almost every game coming out you need to maybe look at this. But who am i, Im retired play almost every mmo that comes out buy and upgrade my comp and pretty much never get paid any attention by you guys. |

Well said... I pretty much do and have done the same thing. I like bits and pieces of quite a few MMOs but nothing has "kept" me after it has drawn me. To be honest, I think I would play WoW because of the extreme amount of game depth and detail, but I just can't bring myself to get over the fact that it looks too cartoonish... yeah, it's a sad and picky view but it's mine. Still... looking for something to play and stick too... in the meantime, it's back to Fallout 3 and Mount&Blade for me in hopes that some real changes occur. PotBS might get me back for another month though, soon... that seems to be the trend for me. Spend a month on Eve, stop... go back to Conan, get bored to tears, same with Warhammer... nothing much changing... falls asleep to Vanguard... vomits in mouth because of the wasted time at some F2P games before I realized that Item Mall = pay to win. Man... what awful choices we have. Maybe some good ol' multipalyer gaming is in order... like Red Orchestra or Call of Duty... Bah... just thinking out loud I guess. ;-)

yes they are turning MMOs into just multiplayer games with these systems. You might say "but its still a persistent virtual word that keeps your progeress"....well in 1999 I played Unreal Tournament FPS it kept my stats online, can I call it an MMO?
