As far as worst games I have never played I'd probably go with SWG after the changes. |

Did everyone pick Eve Online not because the Sandbox mode dosn't fit them but because they just can't get past the tutorial? |

I missed Tabula Rasa. So I voted Warhammer Online. That one was coming second on my list of worst games ever. Cheers |

That is the opposite to what you should vote. If you never played something you dont have the knowledge enough of it, a free trial is at least the minimum. Also, Atlantica wasnt on the list... Neither many other games like TR who deserved to be there, all the game on the list at least have some good points. |

Based on 79 votes. Eve Online - 19.0% Can be confusing and in my opinion is just a fancy screensaver, spent more time afk than actually playing. World of Warcraft - 16.5% Big patches don't seem as frequent now (6 months out and only 1 new raid wtf?), when anything is this popular it tends to feel generic. The rust on this juggernaut is setting in. Star Wars Galaxies - 15.2% CU patch still hurts, now plays like a poor FPS with a lobby Age of Conan - 12.7% Brave move making making 1-20 single player, graphics really are awesome. Much improved and bloody. Will soon be filled with high-pitched spotty teens courtesy of xbox live Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - 11.4% Genuinely offered something new, EA published Earth and Beyond (cancelled), Hellgate London (cancelled) and this (which was cancelled then wasn't). Wouldn't surprise anyone if it was cancelled, which would be a tragedy. Vanguard: Saga of Heroes - 10.1% Was in beta and my PC couldn't cope. Can't really comment. Everquest II - 6.3% In terms of content hard to bash, at least with each expansion newcomers get previous ones free. Something Blizzard will never do. Lord of the Rings Online - 3.8% Slowly being wowified, stop listening to what people think they want Codemasters. City of Heroes - 2.5% Never played Played a lot when released, great game best music in any MMO. Sunscription free, buying skills online has left a tarnish on an otherwise fantastic game. |

Those are actually pretty good games >.> . there are far worse games than what you listed but since you asked "What's the "worst game ever" that you never actually played?" i'll go with age of connan(since i didn't play it :P) |

Originally posted by snowyjoe No I think it has to do with the fact that people don't like to dish out 6 months to 1 year of subscription fees to have a viable character. The invasion of the FPS to MMO players has really hurt rpgs. These are the fragfest people who want to load up, have minimal character growth, then jump to the end game for 3 to 6 months of fragging people who are trying to enjoy the storylines, rpg factors, etc. I for one, did not care for the fact that it was blatantly obvious how much of a time sync they wanted you to have to go through on EVE to be a contributing member of the community. |

This is the most sensless post/poll i have seen yet. Its totally ignorant and dumb to vote for a game as the worst if you never played it by yourself. |

I don't play DDO myself, but I've seen several articles on several sites, including this one, talking about the changes Turbine has made to DDO and providing details on DDO's latest expansion. There's no need to characterize the post to which he was responding. It speaks for itself. |

I been playing MMO's since EQ1 released and every big MMO released since. And Yes even DDO. Now my subscription to MMO weekly just ran out so maybe some one could give my a sypnosis of these paragraphs of DDO's awesome turn around or maybe MR.bloodworth could say something than "You would be wrong." Then I too could be one of the informed masses of "Informed MMO' players so we could subscribe to DDO." I am glad though you where here to speak for mr.bloodworth THANKS.

A comment perfectly in line with the poll actually. I say that because your comment is completely false and evidently based on hearsay, not from actual gameplay experience. Had you played EVE, you would know it was not true.
The poll itself is rather humorous in many regards. :) |

I'd love to say Darkfall but... I'm afraid... The prize has to go to... Dark and Light!

Age of Conan - Played in CB/OB and 1 month after release, enjoyed part of the game, but it never felt MMORPG to me, but definitly not the worst game ever. Well what would be to me the worst game ever, Second Life and The Sims, if I game I want to do the things I can not do in real life, Second life: can spend money in real life for real things, not sure why I should do that in a game, The Sims, a copy of real life, no thanks, so to me those are my 2 worst games ever if speaking in the MMO genre as I can not consider them games (which is a personal opinion that could be different from you who's reading) ------------------------------------------------------------ |

Perhaps instead of making up arguments to create a fictitious debate about "awesome turnarounds" that no one is engaging in except for you, you could actually try do the reading that you claimed to have done in the first place. I've highlighted a relevant portion of your post for ease of reference. Here are a few links to get you started on understanding why it's good to read before you post nonsense: http://www.tentonhammer.com/ddo http://www.massively.com/category/dungeons-and-dragons-online/ |

All are well done quality MMOs saying any of them is the worst game ever just proves you've not played very many games. Call any of those games the worst ever is just stupid and disregarding the amazing amount of absolute shit games, and MMOs that have been made. And how do you know it's the worst game ever if you've never played it? By guessing or believing flamers? |

Having played almost every game on this list none were really terrible and certainly not "Worst Game Ever" material. Go play some F2P MMOs or find some really horrible made Wii or old school NES games. I can list over 100 games that I've played that are far worst than any of these on the list, and at least 20 other MMOs (even a few that aren't F2P). Come on people. As buggy or themepark like as those games may be there are far worse examples of some bad games. There is a significant difference between mediocre and bad. |
