Nope, nothing stops the high lvl azzhats from ganking you.  Just roll with it and you should be fine or if it bug's you just go in a party.

It can have a dual effect, I've seen the arrows pointing both up (meaning att +)  and to the sides (meaning evd +) at the same time, it does not always happen that way though,  I think its only when you hit "w"  and "a" or "d" at the same time, like running diagonally rather than running toward something and then straifing at the same time.

Long answer:  I've seen them not stack sometimes, and I'm not entirely sure why.

based on my experiences, the direction benifits can not stack. One benifit will replace the privious one when you change direction. yes, sometimes it will happen that two arrows showed up, but thats more like a transition phase, so no really duel benifits. also in order to get the direction benifit, you have to keep going one direction for a short of time, then the arriow icon will show up, which means you have the direction benifit, and once you stop or change direction, the arrow icon will disappear, then the benifit is gone.

I have one question. I downloaded the beta client for tommorow. When I try to start the game, the screen goes black, an NCsoft logo appears, and nothing else happens until Im forced to Ctrl alt del. Is this normal?

Mine goes black for quite sometime then I get the ncsoft screen then it gives you the log in screen. Big username and password thing right in the middle.

It will take a day or two after you created you account on the ncsoft website for your email to arrive saying your account has been created. once you get that email you can log in but for now you get a cannot talk to the authentication server error. if you don't have that email yet then you can an invalid username/password message.

Make sure you run the game as an administrator, especially the first time or two. It may be hanging up due to some permission thing.

Also make sure you've rebooted recently. Might be a gameguard issue or some file being still in use from previously trying to run the game.

We don't have skills in a bow or anything. You may say it's a part of being in the School of Scouts. The school is assassin and ranger so that's the reason why we can use both of them. No we can improve archery (passive), but we don't have no skills for it and vice vers a for ranger.

Point is the bow makes for a nice tool, such as luring and such.

Will they character wipe after this beta event or before open beta?

im pretty sure theyre going to wipe this weekend... just a guess

I'm sure there will be for this one. Now the next one I'm not sure. This one is all Eleyos so it would be right for them to wipe after they bring in Asmodes cuz it would be an unfair start.

1. Death Penalty in PvP does not include Exp loss but it does include AP (Abyss Points) loss. It is the PvP currency, the more you have the more PvP related items you can buy.

2. The Spiritmaster is somewhat of a debuffer class, however it is a very unpopular class. There are debuffs like slow and most skills have some effect, like knockback or reducing Magic Defense.

3. Rangers obviously shoot arrows, with debuffs attached to their skills to slow, stun and poison their opponent. They can also lay traps down, the first two they get roots and poisons the target if they run into a 5m radius of it. Rangers also have skills in daggers, however not as proficient as Assassins of course.

4. Both Rangers and Assassins can stealth, I imagine later on Assassins have a better stealth than Rangers. Yes Assassins just use daggers but they pull out a bow to pull if they wish.

5. Well there are only 8 classes, so yes the Spiritmasters are the only pet class. I'm sure there are ways to acquire pets in the future, but you can already transform into many creatures.

Most hits/damage gets it.

yes you can raid anytime you like after 25 in abyss or though rifts (crossing the other faction's land)

Do stuns or other crowd control abilities work on a flying opponent? Can any of them knock them out of flying mode?

Can rangers place traps mid-air?

When flying your defenenses are lowered right? so would abilities that do aerial shackle debuff the enemy?

Ah well that is for Chinese, but not sure about US version.

 Yes all of them do. Being an assassin I know that at level 40, we have a skill that can can stun u in the sky and make you drop for x amount of seconds. Fall to far (or to long) in Abysss and its bye bye for you. I'm sure other classes have such skills too. Also there isn't much CC in this game. I don't think there are skills that can throw down more than one person. You would just have to use stat if your in a group.

I don't think so. Maybe in the future, such as SpiritMasters not able to have pets fly. That will be in the game later on.

Yeah, they are lowered, but if you mean abilities that holds the enemy and such...humm thats a good question. In my class i don't have to really worry about stuff like that. I think it would debuff, like lowering your speed. Maybe stayontarget knows a real answer to that.

Can you Delevel by getting killed a lot in pvp and loosing Abyss Points? So on a bad/drunk night you loose a rank or two?

How severe is loosing AP in pvp? Does it get worse as you get higher rank?

You lose xp when you die (Although you can buy it back from the soul healer for a very minor amount) but it will never lower your level.
